It's been 6 weeks since Lauren and I met. We've hung out here and there as a group with Harper, Cody, Ruby, and Colton. The last couple of weeks, I've been pretty busy with work and side projects I have going on. Lauren and I have texted every single day since we exchanged numbers and have spent countless hours on FaceTime at night. I feel like a high schooler. I get excited when I see her Darling flash across across my screen.

She comes to the bar frequently to visit and has driven a lot of traffic which is great. We've gone as far as to workout together. I think it's time I ask her out on a proper date.

Getting ready for the day, I was just about to head out the door when I got a call from my mom. Not a day went by when we didn't speak. My brothers and I were very close to her and would never stop trying to get her to come to Houston to live closer to us. Dallas was a nearly 4 hour drive and while we'd take the trip in a heartbeat, having her closer to us would be ideal.

I'm doing well. Just making my rounds and calling my boys. I rotate who I call first. Today you're the lucky one.

How's work going, sweetheart?

It's going great. Lots of traffic. I'm working on my sauce line and hoping to get it distributed. You know lots of paperwork to do for that. It'll be in Cody's shop for sure and I'll have some at the restaurant in case anyone is interested.

I'm so proud of you. I need a restock by the way.

What flavors are you going with?

There's my Honey BBQ, a ranch, and I'll do something spicy. I'm working on having dairy free options as well. So for now, it's a small rollout like I've been doing since my Honey BBQ & ranch are served at the restaurant, but I want all the sauces to be in house.

I am. Plus, I have someone that cheers me on.

I laughed as she raised her brow.

25. She'll be 26 on Valentine's Day.

She does and she got really excited about it saying it's her favorite holiday and she's going to get me a gift.
