Hello! I think this will be the last part of this story but the first part of the sequel is up! I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in so long I was swamped with play rehearsal and then our four performances.

-Tubbo POV-

I smile at Ranboo as we walk into the vacant coffee shop. It's my turn to open today and Ranboo decided he would tag along before going to work.

I pull on my favorite yellow sweater lightly before I switch on the lights and head to the back. I grab the coffee that needs to start brewing first before walking behind the counter and flicking various machines on.

I turn and see Ranboo sitting at a table looking out the window thoughtfully. I smile at him slightly before turning back to the counter and opening the pastry display case gently. As the warm smell of coffee starts to fill the cozy space I place the pastry into the display case and turn on some quiet background music.

I turn in time to see Ranboo stand up from his place and approach me quietly.

"I have to head out Tubbo." He says hugging me.

"Okay." I hum "Bye."

"Goodbye bee." He kisses my cheek and leaves the cafe with a small jingle above the door.

I sigh and turn to head into the back room to grab some more things but before I can I hear a small knock on the locked door.

I look up to see Tommy with his hands and face pressed up against the glass door and a grin on his face. I roll my eyes at him.

"Let me in." He mouths pointing to the door handle.

"We're closed." I mouth back grinning.

He pouts at me through the glass and I sigh again before opening the door.

"You've smudged my glass," I say disappointed.

"Should've let me in earlier." He shrugs.

I flip him off before grabbing a clean towel and the glass cleaner I just used on the display case. I gently wipe the door down removing the handprints that were temporarily stuck there.

I straighten up once I'm done and turn back to Tommy who had been watching me.

"So when we're you going to tell me?" He asks.

"Tell you what?" I furrow my brow.

"About you and lover boy."

"Who?"

"Ranboo!"

"Oh."

"I can't believe you've been dating for like 12 hours and didn't tell me!"

I roll my eyes at him.

"Wait how did you find out?" I ask.

"I have my ways." He smugly smiles.

I flip him off again before walling behind the counter.

"So?"

I turn to him.

"Tell me all about it!" He says excitedly.

"Well um..."

"Come on!" He whines dramatically.

"He asked me to be his boyfriend last night when I was on my balcony."

"That's it?"

"Yes?"

"I don't believe you, I'm gonna ask Ranboo later."

"Go for it." I shrug.

He smiles and races out the door. I guess he's going for it now.

The day trails ok after I flip the open sign over. Wilbur comes in halfway through my shift to help out and I smile at him.

We don't share many words throughout the rest of the day and by the end of my shift I don't feel as tired as I anticipated. Ran on enters the door and I look at him confused.

"Come on, we have plans!" He says happily.

"Since when?"

"Since I didn't tell you about them, now come on!"

I smile at his impatience and grab my phone before leaving the cafe with him.

We settle into the car and I sigh happily.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"It's a surprise!"

"You know I hate surprises!" I protest.

"Too bad.".

He drives for about thirty minutes before we arrive at a field.

"Here we are."

"Where is here exactly?"

"You'll see."

I step out of the car into the late afternoon sunshine and smile as the heat hits my face. As I gaze at the field I notice the wildflowers that grow thickly across the ground like a colorful carpet.

Ranboo steps out of the car and I admire the way the sunlight Flint's off of his hair before he grabs my hand and leads me into the field gently. We walk for around ten minutes before we reach the middle. I gasp as I see the picnic set up in a small hallowed section surrounded by wildflowers.

In the middle of the soft supple fabric sits a vase of flowers that stick out gently.

We sit down and he smiles at me.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it. So so much."

I rest my head gently on his shoulder as he grabs the basket that sits near us. He opens it gently and pulls out various containers of fruit and sandwiches.

I smile at the thermos of lemonade and he pulls the last container out of the basket before placing it carefully on the ground.

He opens them and I grab a strawberry quickly.

I look into the horizon and look in wonder at the colors that spread out across the skyline. Rich deep purples and reds are scattered around delicate oranges and yellows. Lavender cloudy dust the mountains in the distance and we eat as we watch the sun set gently behind the clouds.

When the sun is no longer visible and the moon is high in the sky the stars start to glint at us through the midnight blue and Ranboo grabs a small remote by his side.

Fairy lights are threaded delicately throughout the flowers and they simmer as he flicks them on. I let out a quiet sigh and he smiles down at me before gently placing his fingertips under my chin. I raise my face toward him and he traces his fingers along my jawline before gently placing his lips on mine and kissing me below the stars and lavender clouds. Strawberries and sunsets are distant in our minds.
