-Ranboo POV-

I had a lot of fun with Tubbo even though he seemed nervous at first. Honestly, it just makes him all the cuter. He seemed slightly suspicious of my wrists which makes sense because I definitely could have been smoother. Dylan makes my life torture and I don't want to become numb and emotionless because of how often it happens so I cut myself to see if I can still feel anything.

On a happier note, I gave Tubbo my number even though I don't usually have my phone because Dylan insists on "keeping it safe." I told him I don't usually have it and he seemed concerned but we made plans to meet at the park tomorrow and I'm excited.

I leave the library waving at the front desk assistant and start to walk home. I didn't eat breakfast today and I'm ravenous. Suddenly I change direction and start to walk to the cafe on the corner where Tubbo works. I know he's not working today but I'm also friends with Wilbur considering he's dating my boss and occasionally I'll stay at Quackitys house when Dylan is out of town.

I reach the cafe and push open the door carefully making sure not to disturb the few customers chatting in their booths. I see that Wilbur is the barista today so I walk directly up to the counter.

"Hello there Wilbur," I say in a friendly voice.

"Hey, Ranboo!" His face breaks out into a grin.

"How are you?" I raise an eyebrow and he just nods in reply.

"How's my boss?" I ask again.

He blushes and looks down at his hands which are making my usual order.

"He's okay I think, go ask him yourself." He says in a lower than usual voice.

"Oh, but I wouldn't want to invade your house like that," I say chuckling "besides this is much more fun."

"Jesus Christ" he mutters "why are you still allowed in here?!"

"Because you love me..." I tease him.

"Speaking of love..." He says raising his eyebrow suggestively "I heard you and Tubbo were... chatting."

He hands me my coffee.

"Yep," I say blowing the steam off of the top of my frothy drink.

"Is there something developing?" He asks. "Maybe something I should know?"

"No," I say carefully "I'm not quite sure why you'd think that."

"Sure...." He says drawling out his vowels.

I nod at him and turn walking to my favorite corner by the window. I set down my coffee and pull out a book I got today.  I start to read and get about halfway through the book before I finish my drink and decide it's time to leave.

I wave cheerfully at Wilbur and walk out the door. I walk home with a bounce in my step.

Once I get home I walk into the house with no hesitation.

"Dylan?" I call out loudly.

I know full well he's not here but I always like to check and sure enough, I get no response. I know he would have shouted at me for shouting. Ironic isn't it. So I'm clear.

I didn't actually get any food at the cafe so I walk into my pantry. The truth is that this house is all mine, Dylan just invaded it. Because of this, I feel no guilt when retrieving food.

I get rice and chickpeas and walk into the kitchen. I drop butter into a saucepan and pour a cup of rice into it once it's melted. I move the rice so that the butter is completely soaked in and then I add two cups of water and a teaspoon of chicken bouillon.

I finish making the rest of my meal while the rice cooks and once done I eat it and head into my room. I fall onto my bed and into a deep slumber.

-Tubbo POV-

I wake up excited. Today is the first and hopefully not last time I hand out with Ranboo! I change quickly and hear a knock at my door. I sigh and walk to it opening it slowly.

"Hey Tommy," I say without even looking.

"Hey, Tubbs!" He shouts walking into my house.

He goes directly to my kitchen and pulls out a box of cheerios. I'm used to him eating my food so I sit down at my table and grab a handful of dry cereal.

"How're you today?" I ask tilting my head.

"I'm okay, do you have any plans?" He replies.

"Yeah man I'm sorry, I'm hanging out with Ranboo at the park today," I say but I don't feel much regret.

"What?!" Tommy shouts and I jump "why didn't you tell me as soon as you knew?!"

"I dunno," I say shrugging and looking at the clock. "I have to go now! Bye Toms! Don't light anything on fire."

I get to the park and see Ranboo sitting on a swing. There aren't many people here today. I walk up to him.

"Hey, Ranboo!" I say cheerily.

He looks up with a smile on his face.

"Hello, Tubbo!"

"Do you wanna walk?" I ask gesturing at the expanse of grass.

He nods and I grab his hand pulling him off the swing. We walk side by side and point out things of interest.

"Ohhh look." I say excitedly "it's a bumble bee!"

Ranboo smiles at me and we continue walking until we reach a small wooded area.

"I wonder what's in there?" Ranboo asks

"Dragons." I say wiggling my eyebrows at him.

"Oh hush"

I walk around the edge until I see a small stream. I follow the stream into the woods until we reach a small clearing.

"Ohhhh look!" I say "it's so pretty!"

"It is..." Ranboo agrees but he's not looking at the clearing.

I blush and look at my feet.

In the center of the clearing there's a grassy splotch with flowers scattered through it. Sun slight streams down onto it.

I lay down in it and Ranboo lies down beside me.

"We're laying on the ground now?" He asks

"Yep." I say grinning.
