-Tubbo POV-

The day has finally come, the day that I'm being released from this white-walled prison.

I breathe a sigh of relief with they are finished with my last checkup and I'm deemed healthy. Well mostly at least, I will still have to take vitamins for a while after this because the lack of blood in my system caused an iron deficiency. I'm just happy to finally leave this uncomfortable bed behind. Unfortunately, they had to do it so late in the day though.

I stand up and my legs wobble slightly before they straighten completely.

"Ready?" Ranboo smiles at me while holding a bag with a few of his things.

"More than ready, absolutely thrilled." I smile excitedly and stand beside him.

"Okay then, I just signed your release forms so you should be all set!"

I'm glad I'm leaving, ecstatic even because of how boring the redundancy of this place is. I have to visit with a therapist once a week on Tuesdays though, despite the many protests I tried to put up.

I sigh as we finally walk through the double doors that mark the entrance of the hospital.

"Ohhhh," I say catching a glimpse of a cafe "we should get coffee, I haven't had coffee in ages."

"We should go home and get you settled and then we can see if Wilbur's working."

"Okay!" I say happily skipping as best I can.

My legs are both sore and weak from the countless days of lying in the bed but they didn't make me go to rehab because it wasn't an extended amount of time.

Ranboo glances at me with a soft look in his eyes as he opens the car door for me. I slide gently into the seat and jostle my legs around as he gets in.

"I bet I could drive," I state.

"I don't have much interest in breaking my neck today Tubbo."

"I'm not even that bad!" I protest.

"Yes, you are actually, exactly that bad."

I lean further back and out when he laughs at me. He pulls out of the parking lot carefully and starts the short drive home.

I practically run toward the apartment building and into the elevator. Once Ranboo joins me I press the floor button and gleefully wait for the elevator to come to a halt.

I race down the hallway and wait impatiently by the door for Ranboo to unlock it with his key since I left mine at Tommy's. I walk into the apartment quickly and run to the balcony before opening the doors. My eyes sparkle with punished tears as I glance at the happy blooms and buzzing bees.

"You kept them alive," I say turning to Ranboo his watching me.

"Of course I did."

I wrap my arms around his neck and bury my face in his shoulder.

"Thank you," I whisper.

"Of course Tubbs." He says equally as quietly.

I spin out of his arms and look at the flowers again.

"Even the bees stuck around!" I point excitedly.

"Of course they, they knew you were going to return."

I smile at him again before returning to the living room and running my fingertips along the many spines of books.

I take Ranboo's bag and bring it to the bedroom before plopping it down on the neatly made bed.
