The morning had gone relatively smoothly for the most part, after waking up a little more, you decided to ignore the dream you had, choosing to stay within the moment. You had breakfast in the now rundown house you had 'saved' last night, the couple shooting you a few odd looks as you ate. Though you used to find offense with those kind of looks, you quickly realized that the time period you were in was not as accepting of demons as the current one.

Wiping your face down and adjusting Macaque's clothing on your body, you gave the couple a wave goodbye and stepped out of the house, now turning towards Tang. "Azure's instructions seem clear enough. But, if our bond of friendship is strong, we'll always find our way back to one another!" Tang hummed out as he slid the scroll he was holding into his sleeve, now grabbing his khakkhara and sucking in a deep breath. Stepping closer to the man, you and the others let out a light gasp when Tang tapped the khakkhara on the ground, a golden hue enveloping you all.

Your feet lifted from the ground as Mk reached over and grabbed your arm to keep himself stable, a bubble forming around your group. "Alright, off to the next chapter to find our friends!" Mei shouted in an excited manner, Tang nodding his head with a confident smirk as he held a hand outwards, a golden symbol appearing in front of it. With the ring of a Gong, the four of you were engulfed in a bright light before being spat out into a random chapter, the area increasingly hot as your eye fought to adjust.

It didn't take long to realize you weren't in a good spot, as once you pieced together where you were, screams ensued, and everyone clung to you. "Wrong chapter Tang, wrong chapter!" Mk screamed as you all plummeted towards a rocky cliff side, lave pouring from the mountain and down the terrain. Swallowing a large lump in your throat, you closed your eyes tightly and focused on the three people hugging you as you all reached the ground, sucked into a large shadow portal.

Pushing your friends up and out of the portal, you let out a groan as you soon emerged from the portal as well, falling to your hands and knees with a light head. "I'm gonna throw up..." You and Tang muttered as you both stumbled to the side, vomiting your breakfast and groaning at your now empty stomach. "What chapter are we even in...?" Tang asked with a weak voice, you standing up and rubbing your mouth with the back of your hand, glancing around.

Mk hummed and tapped his chin for a while before he stopped, now slowly turning over to face you with a guilty smile. "Don't look at me, I only read Chapter fifty seven and fifty eight." You muttered as you put your hands on the boys face, effectively pushing him away as he groaned a little. "It's anyone guess where we are, I'm only familiar with the starting chapters. After that, zilch." You shrugged as Mei began blurting out random chapters, not really knowing what they were but rather just by how the number sounded on her tongue.

Shaking your head with a mild sigh, you turned over to Mk and rose a brow, stating that he had read a good amount of the story. "I uh, yeah I did but... I mostly skipped over any of the parts that didn't have Monkey King..." The boy chuckled as he bashfully looked away from your glare, deciding to retighten his bandana as he glanced around the hot area. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to just chapter hop for a little? I mean, how hard can it be to find a pig, a large blue guy and the Monkey King, huh?" Turning over, he balled his hands up into fists and looked over at Tang with an expecting glance, watching as he looked him up and down before sighing and nodding his head.
