BASIL was beyond exhausted. Jeez, the amount of yelling he did today was insane to him. He sighs and lays back on the bed, while KEL is doing his thing. It seems like KEL wasn't up for conversation anymore as he looked like he was thinking about something. BASIL could see him in the corner of his eye, seemingly muttering to himself. He thought that was a bit weird, considering it was KEL that he was talking about. It would've been fine, but KEL actually thinking about something? That was more of a joke than KEL himself.
BASIL snickers quietly before letting his situation sink in. Ah, he was going to foster care. He totally forgot about that for a moment. With all the reassuring MINCY did, all the things she said were all too good to be true. Who would even take in some 'abused street rat'? Certainly no one in this shitty town.
He sighs. His eyelids were beginning to feel heavy. BASIL closed his eyes, letting himself drift off to sleep. It was about time he finally got some shut-eye.

BASIL knocked on AUBREY's front door. He brushed off his shorts softly, waiting patiently. He was wearing his typical shorts but with a pale green shirt with a collar, as usual, he was wearing something flower related, the patterns all over the bottom of his shirt and short sleeves. He adjusted the white lily in his hair. After a moment, the door opened and Aubrey appeared, dressed in a flowy sundress with her hair flowing down to her back. She smiled when she saw Basil.
'Oh! U..Uhm...Good morning, AUBREY! I just wanted to invite you to the park..uhm, me and KEL are going to be there soo..', BASIL looked down shyly, not used to socializing.
AUBREY's eyes sparkled until she heard the name KEL. 'Ugh, why is KEL going to be there?', She grumbled before puffing out her cheeks in a childlike manner.
BASIL does a simple chuckle. 'W..Well everyone is invited..I can't exactly uhm...leave KEL out just because y..you don't like him..that's not nice...', BASIL fuddles with his fingers.
AUBREY sighs and crosses her arm, still pouting. 'I know, I know, but he just makes me so mad sometimes! With his constant teasing and brain-dead behavior.', She says with a tint of sas.
'A..AUBREY....you shouldn't say those things..', BASIL rubs his neck nervously.
AUBREY looks down, feeling a little guilty. 'I guess you're right. I shouldn't be so hard on him.'
BASIL smiles. 'Thank you, AUBREY...! So..., will you uhm come to the park with us?'
AUBREY nods. 'Sure! I'll come. Let me just grab my stuff.' She disappears into her house for a moment before emerging with a small backpack.
BASIL awkwardly smiles and they make their way to the park.
When they arrive at the park, they see KEL sitting on a bench, tossing a ball up in the air and catching it. He looks up when he sees them and grins widely.
