TW: Foul Language, Fighting (Like an actual fight), BASIL finally snapping at SUNNY.
Opening the door to the room, BASIL realized that MINCY was no longer there. Huh, she must've gone downstairs. He puts his dirty clothes into the laundry basket and dries off his wet hair. He peers into the body mirror, not fazed by how ghostly and sickly he looked. BASIL lets out a sigh as he examines his reflection. His skin looked pale and sallow, and dark circles had formed under his eyes. He runs his fingers through his damp hair, trying to style it into place. But his hair seemed to have a mind of its own and wouldn't cooperate.
He decides to leave his hair as it was, knowing that it was a lost cause. He should probably cut it, it was getting far too long and it was bothersome taking care of it. BASIL suddenly realizes that KEL doesn't have any clothes to change into when he gets out, plus he took the towel. He sighs and goes to KEL's closet, rummaging around for clothes.
After a few minutes of searching, BASIL finally finds a clean set of clothes for KEL. He grabs a shirt, a pair of pants, and some underwear and heads back to the bathroom. As he approaches the door, he can hear the sound of running water from inside.
He's still in the bath? That's...weird. Maybe he's waiting for me to go get him some clothes, but... why hasn't he called out for me yet?
BASIL opens the door and the floor was flooded with water. His eyes widen in shock as he sees the flooded bathroom floor. He quickly steps back to avoid getting wet and looks around for the source of the water. He sees that KEL is still in the bathtub, the water overflowing onto the floor.
BASIL rushes over to the bathtub and quickly turns off the tap. 'KEL, what the hell? The bathroom is flooded!' he exclaims, trying to keep his voice calm.
KEL looks up at him with blank eyes, seemingly startled by the sudden interruption. 'Oh...sorry, I must've fallen asleep,' he mumbles groggily.
BASIL rolls his eyes. 'Fell asleep in the bathtub? You could've drowned!' he scolds.
KEL just shrugs and starts to get out of the tub, grabbing the towel that BASIL brought with him.
BASIL can't help but notice how empty KEL's eyes look as he steps out of the tub, his wet hair clinging to his forehead. 'Are...you feeling okay?' he asks, handing KEL the clothes he had brought.
KEL nods, but doesn't say anything, instead wrapping the towel around himself and heading out of the bathroom without a word.
BASIL watches him go, feeling a sense of unease settling in the pit of his stomach. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but something was definitely off about KEL. He feels a twinge of concern as he watches KEL leave the bathroom without saying anything. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong with him. But he pushes the thought to the back of his mind for now and turns his attention to the flooded bathroom.
BASIL sighs, feeling frustrated as he looks around at the flooded bathroom. He had no idea how to clean up this mess properly. He spots a few towels nearby and grabs them, hoping they would be enough to dry up the water on the floor.
