A/N: This chapter is going to be released early since I cannot post on Saturday due to some personal reasons. Have fun reading! :)
TW: Slight Foul Language, Self-Deprecation, SUNNY being an asshole like always.
BASIL stood there in shock. He didn't know if any of this was real or not. He tugs on his hair and sighs. BASIL's mind races as he tries to process what just happened. He feels a mix of emotions - confusion, anger, sadness, and guilt.
'Shit shit shit, KEL wait! Please...!', BASIL yells out as he follows behind KEL.
He runs out of the bathroom, looking around frantically but KEL was nowhere to be found. He swore that KEL just walked out, so where did he go?
Dammit BASIL, you always do this to yourself.
BASIL mutters to himself, berating himself for his behavior. He leans against the hallway wall and slumps down in despair.
'Why can't you ever get it right?' BASIL mutters to himself, his voice laced with self-hatred. 'Why do you always have to mess things up? Why can't you just be normal and have a normal relationship with someone?'
He pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath. 'You always have to push people away, don't you? You always have to be right, even when you're wrong. And now look what you've done. You've driven away the one person who was trying to help you.'
BASIL hangs his head in shame, tears starting to form in his eyes. 'You're pathetic, BASIL. Absolutely pathetic.'
-From this point on things will be viewed from KEL's POV.-
KEL looks up as he hears his name. He stands up and walks toward the door, confused.
KEL peeks out from the bedroom door, silently observing BASIL. He looks behind him seeing SUNNY standing there. He rolls his eyes and closes the door.
SUNNY looked confused, he tilts his head. 'You alright? Did something happen?'
KEL plops himself onto his bed, laying back on the pillow with his hand behind his head.
'BASIL is just having an episode, nothing new.', KEL crosses his legs, scrolling through his phone.
'What kind of episode?', SUNNY asks curiously.
KEL shrugs. 'Who knows, it's always something with him. He's probably just overthinking something again.'
SUNNY looks concerned. 'Do you think we should check on him?'
KEL rolls his eyes again. 'Honestly, it's not worth the effort. He'll come out when he's ready.'
SUNNY nods slowly, but he still seems worried. 'Okay, but if he needs anything, we should be there for him. That's what friends are for, right?'
