TW: Foul Language, Self-Deprecation, Slight Suicidal Thoughts, and Hallucinations.

BASIL buried his face into KEL out of shame and guilt. How could he do something so stupid?! How could he hurt KEL like that? WHY did he hurt KEL like that? Was he just so delusional that he wanted to hurt him? He even did that after KEL confided in him...He was a terrible friend and a terrible person...

BASIL finally pulled away from KEL, his face red and swollen from crying. He looked at KEL with remorse in his eyes and spoke softly, 'I'm sorry, KEL. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have hurt you like that. I shouldn't have hurt anyone. I...I just lost control. I didn't mean to hurt you.'

KEL let out a tired sigh and rubbed his forehead, 'BASIL, I appreciate your apology, but this isn't the first time you've lost control. I'm already used to your "violent" tendencies that....it just doesn't faze me anymore.'

SUNNY sat there with a blank expression, he exhaled before standing up.

KEL side eyes SUNNY before looking back toward BASIL, 'I'm...going to go back to sleep. I really shouldn't have woken up at all.', He murmurs.

KEL stands up and goes to his bed. Meanwhile, BASIL crawls toward KEL's bed and grabs his hand, 'K..KEL...are...you mad..? I..I'm sorry...You can hit me or even punch me if you like..! P..Please...', He frowns, his face full of desperation.

KEL sighs and looks down at BASIL's hand holding onto his own. He gently pulls his hand away and shakes his head, 'No, BASIL, I'm not mad. I'm....just tired.' He then lays down on his bed and closes his eyes, signaling the end of the conversation.

BASIL bites his lip and looks toward the ground, his hands clenched onto his pajama pants. His mind was racing with self-loathing thoughts. How could he have been so stupid and reckless? He was a burden on them, always causing trouble and making things difficult. He was useless and worthless, a waste of space.

A couple of footsteps could be heard heading towards the door before the door opened and closed. BASIL turns around to see that SUNNY had left, he wasn't surprised. He would've left too.

BASIL felt a lump forming in his throat as he tried to hold back tears. He couldn't let KEL and SUNNY see him cry again, they had already seen enough of his weakness. He was a failure, a disappointment, and a burden. He wished he could disappear and never come back, sparing everyone the trouble of dealing with him.

BASIL's self-loathing thoughts grew louder as he sat alone in the room. He couldn't take it anymore. He had to get out of there before he caused any more trouble. He slowly stood up and quietly walked toward the door, trying not to wake KEL up.

As he reached for the doorknob, he hesitated for a moment. What if KEL and SUNNY woke up and stopped him? What if they tried to convince him to stay? But BASIL knew he couldn't stay, not after what he had done.

He opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. He saw SUNNY standing there, looking at him with a blank expression. BASIL quickly averted his gaze and tried to walk past him.

But as he passed by, SUNNY grabbed his arm and stopped him. 'Hey, where do you think you're going?' SUNNY asked with a hint of concern in his voice.
