A/N: Heyy guys, I know I said there wouldn't be any chapters today or on Monday but since I felt a bit better I thought I might as well combine the two chapters from what I already wrote. I hope you guys enjoy this extremely long chapter! ❤️

"After that entire thing, I went to sleep and 4 weeks went by in a flash. It was September now and the cold air was starting to arrive in time for winter. During that time, KEL tried his best to convince me that I was wrong for doing what I did but it was too late. The entire town now knew what SUNNY had done. I would sometimes see older kids taunt and bully SUNNY due to his reputation now being ruined.
I felt bad of course, SUNNY was now in my shoes. But that didn't stop me from joining in at times. It was only fair, after all, you reap what you sow.
SUNNY started going through some big and noticeable changes. I started noticing he would be more... quiet than usual and no longer went outside to hang out with the HOOLIGANS. It was like he reverted back into the kid he used to be.-"
BASIL set down his pen and closed his journal, letting out a sigh as he shifted his gaze toward the window above him. If only he didn't have to write down his stupid feelings.
'Maybe it's time I stop being such an idiot', he muttered to himself, his eyes still fixed on the window.
With another sigh, he closed his eyes briefly, feeling the weight of his actions settle upon him. He ruined everything, he knew he did. Now everything was wrong, it was never supposed to be like this... SUNNY was never supposed to get-
He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He didn't want to spiral into a panic over his mistakes but... he couldn't help but think that KEL was right. What was he even talking about? Of course KEL was right...
Slowly, he shifted his focus toward SUNNY. What was he supposed to do now? He got what he wanted... and instead of feeling accomplished, he felt... empty. Like he never wanted SUNNY to feel his pain.
BASIL sat up, tucking a stray strand of hair behind his ear. His gaze remained fixed on SUNNY, who was enveloped in blankets. Should he reach out and comfort SUNNY? No... he knew all too well that he would use his kindness against him. It's better to just leave him be, it was no longer his business anyways.
He carefully placed his journal on the nightstand, as if distancing himself from the emotions he had poured onto its pages. BASIL inhaled deeply, feeling the air fill his lungs as he adjusted his position on the bed. He held his contemplative gaze on the window for a bit, then reached a decision. He knew he had to get up, to shake off the weight that clung to him.
With a mix of determination and uncertainty, he swung his legs off the bed and pushed himself to stand. The room felt quieter now, his thoughts resounding in the stillness. His journal rested on the nightstand, a record of the inner turmoil he'd tried to capture with ink.
As he rose, he stretched his arms overhead, trying to ease the tension that had knotted in his muscles. The room felt colder, a reminder that the seasons were changing, mirroring the shifts happening all around him.
