"What do you mean they're gone?" Steven snapped into his phone,

"Sir the house seems to be empty and their gate is locked," He heard back,

"I should have issued a warrant weeks ago." Steven groaned. "I think I might have enough evidence to take it to the judge,"

"Sir but they're not here, how would that work?" The man asked him over the phone.

"A nationwide manhunt," Steven responded lowly. He wanted to get Naala for all her crimes and drugs were the easiest way.

"I have an idea sir but I'm not sure if you're gonna like it," His commander said beside him,

"What is it?" Steven asked, he was desperate at this point.

"If they're drug dealers, what's the first thing they're going to jump at?" He spoke which made Steven's face light up.

He now knew exactly where to get them.

Meanwhile, in Lagos, they were none the wiser.

"Your lunch sir," A waiter placed a plate of food in front of Mekhi.

"Thanks, you don't got to call me sir though," He glanced up at her. "Unless you want to," He smirked.

"Stop flirting with the help," Stori sucked her teeth. "Thank you Betty," She smiled at her,

"I'm just being nice," Mekhi shrugged. "Where's my nigga Si, we're about to roll out soon,"

"You're not rolling anywhere with him," Stori said blankly,

"Nigga she got you like that?" Cassius gasped when Silas sat down beside Stori,

"I let her little ass think she running shit," Silas joked. "I'm playing baby, I won't even chill that long,"

"Yeah okay," Stori mumbled looking away from him,

"Hello beautiful people," Aamirah said sitting down, patting a seat for Alaiya to join her.

"Since when were you two besties?" Storm mugged,

"Don't be jealous," Alaiya smiled back at her. "Worry about your crooked ass bow,"

"You cursed," Roman gasped. "Mama," He shouted loudly.

"Shush you know she's sick," Reign nudged him,

"Mama has been being sick," Alaiya whispered to Aamirah,

"Oh really?" Aamirah raised a brow. "For how long?" She whispered back.

"For so long, she stays in the bathroom all the time," Alaiya snitched,

"Hm," Aamirah pursed her lips. Carmello came in, kissing her cheek before he sat down with Ayla in his lap.
