Third Person POV

Sophia walked through the hallways of the building, her feet directing her to the room where everything was going to be taking place.

She was still firm on her opinion that this was the stupidest plan they came up with. Something inside her body was telling her it was going to go wrong. And she was going to have to be the one that fixed it. Like she always seemed to do when Nick's plans failed.

As she opened the doors of the big room, all agents turned their heads to look at her, expectantly.

Even though she didn't agree with this, she couldn't exactly just bail and let someone else do it. Of course, no one was forcing her to, she could get out if she desired. But she didn't. She wanted to do this.

-Alright people.- She said with a firm voice and it made a shiver run down some agents' spines. -We only have one shot at this and it needs to go down smoothly, no bumps, no mistakes. We have to make sure the Captain remains in that room at all times until either the Director, Coulson or myself show up to talk to him.- Sophia said and the agents nodded.

One of the female agents and a man were there, looking at her almost mockingly.

-And if he wants to leave? I mean we can't hold him back.- The woman said and the man nodded.

Sophia turned to look at them coldly.

-Is that so?.- Sophia asked as she crossed her arms over her chest. The man scoffed a little and nodded.

-Yeah. I mean, the man is huge and if he wants to go out, he can. He has the right to his freedom, I mean, what's the worst that could happen if he goes out?.- The man said and Sophia nodded.

All the other agents knew by the look on Sophia's face that those two were either going to be fired or killed, the latter almost happening because of Sophia's hard glare.

With slow and steady steps, she walked closer to the agents.

-What are your names?.- She asked in a low calmed voice and somehow that only made the other agents fret for their fellows' lives.

-I'm Marano.- The man said.

-I'm Blanc.- The woman said.

Sophia smiled at them emotionlessly and took a step closer to them.

-Listen, Marano and Blanc.- She said, her voice soft. -You are here, because you need to do a job. And I don't really care if you think if he can stay or go, or if he has a "right" to his freedom. He is not a prisoner. We are just going to help him out.- Sophia said, looking sternly at the two agents. -So I suggest, you stop your bull rambling and get to work.- She said and with one last look, she turned around, ready to go back to give orders.

Before she could go any further, the man, agent Marano, spoke.

-Oh yeah? And who are you to give us orders? Last time I checked, you're not the director, you're not Coulson. You just can't boss us around. Why would we listen to you?.- The man asked, challenging her and Sophia stopped on her tracks.

Everyone was just staring at the man with wide eyes. That's when they knew.

He was a dead man.

Sophia knew why this agent was saying the things he was saying. It was because he was a sexist sorry excuse of a man, and he felt intimidated by her. He thought that by challenging her, his fellow agents were going to clap at him and pat him on the back.
