December 2012. 15:07. Somewhere in Miami, Florida.

Third Person POV.

Sophia's head was spinning. Even with her eyes closed, she could feel the floor moving beneath her. She tried moving her hands but as much as she did, she couldn't. Her mind was hazy and it took her a long moment to remember what had happened.

The attack at the house in Malibu.

Tony dying.

Tony sending her a message that he is alive.

Talking to Harley.

Her, arriving at the hotel.

Her, talking to Pierre.

The ambush at the room.

Killian taking her and Pepper.

Her mind started to clear but as she tried to open her eyes, her vision was still blurry. As she blinked several times, she took in her surroundings.

She was in a dingy looking room. There was a mattress in the corner and the painting of the walls was chipping. The ceiling was moldy and almost falling apart because of the humidity covering the walls. There was a door in front of her and at her left, a table with different tools and medical tools as well. Some of them, she knew, were torture devices. She knew that because she's used them before in people.

Not her best moment.

Looking down at herself, she saw her hands tied to the arms of a chair and her legs as well. She tried wiggling her fingers, but the paralyzing agent was still on her body, making it impossible for her to move even an inch. She analyzed the situation in her head.

How she was going to get out of this, how was she going to help Tony and Pepper. Where was she? Where was Tony? Her mind was working at a thousand miles per second, but as her head started pounding again, she stopped.

The sound of the door creaking open and the silent steps of someone going inside alerted her of a new presence in the room. Lifting her gaze, she was met with a tall man with long black raven hair. He had a scar that ran from his left eyebrow, through his nose all the way to his right cheek and brown almost black eyes that screamed nothing but psychopath. He was bulky and his arms were covered in tattoos, his neck had a black skull on the left side and a raven on the right one. He was dressed all in black and his hands were covered in big silver rings. She had faced people like him before, for sure. But she had complete movement of her body. Involuntarily, a shiver ran down her spine and she felt fear filling her veins. She was defenseless right now.

As he walked towards her, he cracked his knuckles and a sinister smile grew in his lips.

Oh, shit.

—-------------------------------

-What's next for you in your world?.- Tony asked, looking away from Killian.

After waking up from being unconscious, he found himself tied to the base of a bed and in what he presumed to be a dungeon, along with Maya and minutes after, the one and only, Aldrich Killian.

For the last minutes, he had been trying to get Maya to free him so he could end with the whole farce that The Mandarin was real, but his plan had gone sideways when he was knocked over by the human volcano and brought here. Now, Killian was explaining his master plan and why he wanted to end him ever since Tony left him waiting on that rooftop after New Year's in Switzerland.
