sorry people, no filler, just long chapter. hehe
none of it was real.
it was all an illusion._____________________
I woke up to the sun shining into my face, at least the bit of sunlight that could through the small gap between my curtains. This feeling of soft warmth in my face and cozy, white bedsheets started to feel like home. I loved waking up like this, and even though it was so different to London, my life here did feel like home.
A smile made it's way onto my face as I pushed the beige curtains open, the sun basically saying good morning in the most precious way possible. I opened the window and made my bed like every other morning. Put on some clothes and then made my way into the bathroom, where the sunlight was floating into the room as well. I loved this feeling, this feeling you could only get in the morning. I brushed my teeth happily and waited for Georgia to stick her head through the door, which she did at exactly 8:45, the time she'd noticed I wasn't home the day I fell asleep in the park. She smiled brightly at me, grabbing her toothbrush just after I had finished spitting everything into the sink. I ruffled her hair playfully, before making my way back into my room, closing the window and grabbing my sports bag, I made my way into the kitchen, where I grabbed my water bottle, threw the old lemon away, cut new slices and filled the bottle again. It was the same as always and I loved it.
I sat on the counter, scrolling through Instagram when Georgia appeared, making both of us leave the apartment and step outside to Syd, Klara and Mala, all smiling at us. We got into the car and Klara drove us to Ursel, where we got breakfast, before going to the campus.
It might be boring to always do the same every morning, but when you love something so much, it just can't.
We stepped into the dining room of the campus, getting greeted by Lina and Caro fighting... with plastic swords?
,,What the hell are you guys doing?", I laughed and they just shrugged, their swords now loosely laying in there hands.
,,We went to Tedi before coming here.", Lina smiled proudly. Tedi was a shop where you could buy the most random things for basically nothing, but let's say the quality was as low as the price. Caro lifted her sword in the air happily, the toy looking like it had definitely seen better days.
We laughed at the two of them, sitting down with Zadi, Karolina, Glodis and Tuva, who where eating their breakfast, so we just joined. It didn't take long for us to step onto the training field though, Alex quickly turning the water sprinkler system off, so the cold water wouldn't make us wet. He told us to run a bit and then went to prepare some light drills.
Klara and I had just finished our attacker vs defender exercise, as I had happily taken the defender role. It was fun, not getting any pressure to score. We walked back over to Georgia and Syd, the latter smiling at me weirdly. The situation between the two of us was tensed to say the least. She acted weird because of Jill, she did for the past few weeks, but since two days it was different. She constantly looked at me with worry in her eyes and seemed to not like it when I talked about my feelings for Jill. And even though I loved Syd with all my heart and didn't want to believe my own brain, I couldn't help but think she was being jealous. I didn't want to know what she herself felt for the girl that made my heart flutter. I really didn't.
Before anything could be said though, the water sprinkler went on, all of us, including the staff, getting completely wet and cold as the water fell down on us. Squealing everyone ran off the pitch, only to let their angry gazes fall onto two girls, standing there, completely dry, with playful smirks on their faces.
