You watch me
bleed until I can't breathe,
falling onto my knees.

Third person's POV:

Aurie woke up to the sun shining into her face. Even though she still had this weird feeling in her belly, the spanish weather immediately left her in a quite positive mood. Her gaze fell onto her phone, the screen lighting up as soon as she touched it. 6 a.m.. She looked out of the window again, sitting up slightly. The sun was still rising, leaving the whole football pitch in a golden light. She turned, seeing Niamh fast asleep in her bed. Aurie needed to clear her head, she didn't know from what exactly, but that didn't matter at all. And knowing what had always helped with getting out of her own mind, she quietly got up from her bed and threw on some clothes, before making her way out of the hotel room and outside the building. Popping her headphones in, she slowly started to run into any direction that fet good. At this early time, the temperature was still very comfortable. Aurie knew about her fainting problems, it bothered her extremely as she loved the summer and the warm weather. She wondered what caused her to be this sensitive, but till then no doctor had been able to tell her what the reason for the random pass outs was.

Aurie's feet started to tread onto the dry ground faster, her heartbeat picking up as her lungs worked on full speed. She was used to this. Running had always been some kind of therapy for her. It allowed her to let every worry and every emotion go, forced her to spend time thinking, all by herself. And she did, her mind soon wandered back to her and Anna's conversation. The young brunette slowly begun to understand why things had happened the way they had happened, why Jill hadn't reacted to Aurie liking her. It had been obvious, the 19-year-old had been practically drooling as soon as she thought about Jill and she asked herself, why Jill had never said anything earlier, had never stopped her, if she must have been so aware of it. It would've been so much easier.

Aurie stopped in her tracks for a moment, a little path was leading away from the street she had been following for the past minutes. The golden sunshine was fighting it's way through the trees, letting the long grass on each sides of the path looking so glory. A smile appeared on Aurie's lips as she turned and started running up the first hill that the path was leading to. The city suddenly felt so far away, the nature surrounding the young girl feeling so peaceful. She felt free, running up that hill, all her worries going quiet for that moment. She felt the warm sun on her skin, the thin layer of sweat and the soft wind cooling her body down again. The air was slightly thicker than at home, but fresh. She reached the top, breathing heavily when she looked into the distance. The path that she was still standing at, lead into absolutely nothing but hills and fields. There were horses, peacefully enjoying their grass. Aurie didn't even need to run any further, she sat down and watched how the sun rised more and more. She knew she'd soon have to return to camp, to her friends, to football. Sometimes she wished her life was different, she wished she could see more of the world's quiet places. Football caused her to see a lot of the world, but she always had appointments or matches. She'd have to rush from one hotel to another stadium to the airport... and even when she was at home, she was only there to eat and sleep, her off days were used to relax. To give her body a break, but what about her mind? Sometimes Aurie wanted to see the world from a different perspective. There were so many places like these, they were everywhere, but the brunette found herself stuck in her schedule. She was excited for her holidays, where she'd spend time here in Spain with her friends. She was sure it'd help her mind to rest, but something inside her wanted more. Something inside her wanted to find the world's quiet places. And something inside her also wished for someone to do it with her, to be by her side through all of that. To sit beside her right now and just enjoy the quietness with her. Someone like her.
