,,Aurie, hurry up! We'll miss our flight!", Georgia yelled through the shop as I quickly grabbed the little Guld chocolate bar. It was the one I had also asked Magda to buy back in Ikast and now that I had found it at Munich's Airport, I couldn't help but get it. I payed, before rushing out to Georgia. She shook her head at me when she saw the chocolate in my hands, but I just grinned innocently.
We got onto the plane soon after and found our seats. Georgia had gotten the tickets a week earlier because she was scared I'd mess it up. I felt slightly offended actually, but after all she was right. I had never got tickets by myself before.
,,Do you want to listen to some music or book on tape?", she asked as I stretched my muscles.
,,No thanks. I'm quite sleepy so I think I'll just nap for a bit." I kicked off my shoes and soon settled down in the seat, my head resting on her shoulder.
,,Aurie we woke up like two hours ago. You're always napping.", she chuckled, but I just shrugged, my eyes closed.
,,Got it from P..", I mumbled, already drifting off to sleep.
The flight wasn't long. After two hours we landed in London, where we'd meet the team and then take another plane to Spain where we'd have our camp and then play against the Spanish national team, before we'd go to Norway, where we'd play against the Norwegian national team. I was excited to meet Guro again, I honestly couldn't wait, but right now, there were another person from Chelsea that I had missed a lot.
,,AURIE!" I turned my head around, seeing a certain someone almost tripping over her own feet as she ran towards me. A grin broke across my face as I left my suitcase behind and threw myself into her arms.
,,NIAMH!", I screamed, so loud the whole airport could probably hear it, but neither of us cared. ,,Ahh, I've missed you!" I smiled brightly as we broke apart and I looked at her. She was still the same Niamh that I had left behind. Messy ponytail, a cut under her right eye that she had probably got while doing something like reading, I mean she didn't read at all, but you get the message, and the same wry smile on her face.
,,Yes, me too!" She clapped her hands excitedly. ,,I need to tell you so much you don't even know...", her voice drifted off as she dramatically stared at me, shaking her head. ,,Oh! And you need to tell me about Jill! I knew there was something off about her!" She whispered the last part, leaning close to my ear so I could hear it. I chuckled, pushing her face away from mine jokingly.
,,Shut up. I just should've seen it earlier.", I shrugged, but she just gasped.
,,Eh, no! She maybe just should've opened her fricking mouth and tell you about her girlfriend? How are you supposed to know, huh? Does she want you to snif around her little stupid brain and find out yourself? I don't think so!" I rolled my eyes at her, but smiled nevertheless. I had missed her stupid humor. I had missed her.
,,Niamh! Aurie!", I heard a familiar voice call and as we approached her, I cheekily grinned up at her.
,,I missed you too, Leah!", I smiled and she rolled her eyes. Leah would always pretend to be annoyed by me, but we both knew that wasn't true. She slapped the back of my head and I laughed, linking arms with Niamh like some old couple as we made our way to the Lionesses' plane.
,,She hates you.", Niamh whispered, but loud enough for Leah to hear.
,,No, she doesn't.", I smirked, glancing at Leah who was walking beside us. And I could see the soft smile playing on her lips.
