Dauen Pov:
I opened my eyes to the sight of Karina crying.
"Karina?" I murmured.
My friend jumped and grabbed my wrist tightly.
"Dauen! Oh my god, you're awake!"
I smiled weakly.
"Yeah. What happened?"
"You don't remember? You-"
"Is she awake?" I heard a deep voice ask from the doorway.
"Oh Wonwoo! Yes she is!" Karina replied.
The doctor entered my room and quickly walked over to my side.
"How are you feeling, Dauen?"
"I'm fine I think-" I stopped when I noticed the bandages around my arms.
"What the hell? Why am I all bandaged up?" I exclaimed, feeling my face.
Sure enough there was another wrap around my head, and a patch on my right cheek.
"Some burns. But they'll heal." Wonwoo answered.
"BURNS?" I shrieked.
"Dauen. You don't remember?" Karina stammered.
"What?"
"The car explosion, and that assassination attempt by Jaehyun?" Wonwoo replied.
"No?"
"Oh dear. Miss Lee isn't suffering from a head injury now is she?" Jun poked his head inside my room along with Mingyu.
"I don't think so. She's just confused, but that should heal in a couple hours or so." The doctor shrugged.
"God, why is everyone in my room?" I groaned.
"Okay boys, out! Out!" Karina shooed the three males out.
"Woah there, I just wanted to make sure my boss was fine!" Mingyu protested
"I don't care, she needs space. Shoo!"
Wonwoo, Mingyu and Jun rolled their eyes but complied. I grinned as my friend returned to my side.
"What about you missy?"
"I'm here to keep you safe. Just go back to sleep, Dauen."
I sighed.
"Fine."
When I woke from my slumber, I saw not Karina, but Jeonghan sitting by me reading a newspaper that was titled the Mafia Tribune.
"Jeonghan?" I yelped in surprise.
The male slowly set down his paper, and I quickly noticed a bandage on his cheek.
"What happened to you?" I breathed.
"A bullet nicked me while I rescued you last night. Nothing to be really concerned about." He replied.
"A bullet? Are you okay?" I gasped.
Jeonghan smiled softly.
"Yeah. I'm fine."
"So what are you here for?"
The blonde haired male paused.
"Miss Lee, I know we've started off on the wrong foot but I think I've genuinely begun to gain feelings for you. Would you like to go out on a date with me?"
I blinked.
"Sorry what?"
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" Jeonghan repeated.
I thought deeply for a minute.
"Well at first you wanted to take over my gang position, but then you have been pretty nice to me for the past month. And you did save me yesterday. . . so yes I'll go on a date with you."
"You will?" Jeonghan gasped in shock.
"Yeah?"
"Oh my god, thank you so much! Thank you-"
"Okay not too close, I want to go slow." I smirked, stopping Jeonghan from coming any closer.
"Fine. We'll take it slow."
Jeonghan stood up suddenly and headed towards the door.
"Where are you going?" I called after him.
"Letting you rest before our first date."
"Why? What do you have in mind?"
"Robbing a bank?"
"YOON JEONGHAN!"
