I know some of you may not be happy with the ending so I wanted to take some time and explain myself.

This story is been something I've been toying with for a long time and I know it's by no means perfect. Writing is something I enjoy as I hobby but I am aware my work will be flawed. The story of Alex, Chase and Nate is something that I found evolved over time and as much as I tried to stick to my outline I couldn't help but think of other possibilities and found myself changing the story over time. Originally it was just about Alex and Chase and Nate was going to just be a side character that wouldn't make it past the first book. If I'm completely honest, I didn't always plan a second book. When I was writing the Chase chapters I found myself routing for him but likewise when I wrote Nate I also wanted to champion him. Although the story seems to follow the story of Alex and Chase as a priority I understand that some readers will route for the underdog and in honesty I found myself struggling to make the decision of who she would end up with.

When I wrote the final chapter I purposely chose to leave it up to the reader to decide who got the happy ever after and who sadly didn't. This isn't something I decided lightly but I truly wanted my readers to get the ending they want. So that's it really. The answer isn't some big cliff hanger, there's no right or wrong here. The answer is whatever you want it to be. The story ends here, there will be no third book because I don't want to taint the readers choice.

The answer is whatever you want it to be.
