In the night sky
I see
With both my eyes
A lonely moon
Surrounded by
Mesmerizing stars
Trying to glow
Brighter than the moon
But nothing can over shine
The moonlight itself
Stronger than strong
Gorgeous like ever before
I love the moon
Without it
I'm lost in the dark
That you know for sure, no?
Moonlight would shine right
Through my window
If it weren't for the curtains
But I like to keep it dark
Because I feel safer
In the dark
Knowing that the moon
Is right above
Kind of keeping me safe
At night
Like a protector
Or an angel
Watching over me
Day and night
Yeah
That's right!
