This treaty binds the two kingdoms Eldia and Atlantia by trust and loyalty among two friends: Queen Historia Reiss and Queen Delphine Atlantia.

Upholding Virtues Statement

In order to protect the trueness of this treaty and those signed, I uphold all moral values. Not aiming to be a perfect leader, but a good leader keeping in mind the needs of my kingdom and her people. If I willingly put my people in danger and destroy the reputation of my kingdom by allowing unneeded bloodshed, I accept the punishment to be removed from this treaty.

Leaders: Queen Historia and Queen Delphine

About the Treaty

This treaty is broken up into 4 sections and each part covers an essential moral virtue. The moral values this treaty is based on is Justice, Honesty, Loyalty and respect. The four sections built on those virtues are as follows: Money, Power & Protection, Land Boundaries, and Resources. Each part is an essential aspect of each kingdom.

Below are the terms and conditions of this treaty.

Money

I promise to provide financial aid to the kingdom I am allied with.

If I am given financial aid, I promise to pay it back in its entirety within 2 months of receiving the money so as to uphold loyalty and respect.

Summary of the above statements. If the kingdom I am allied with is in need of money, I willingly provide what is necessary. If I borrow money from my allied kingdom, I am subject to paying them back within 2 months. This upholds the virtue of loyalty and respect. This doesn't always mean giving money. Ex. One kingdom is struggling to provide for its people (the currency; if it's gold, silver or other minerals has run out), another kingdom can help the kingdom to find other ways to create currency. Like using another mineral or creating a paper system.

Power & Protection

Using my good judgment, I promise to protect my allied kingdom against threats and provide man or mer power whenever necessary.

I promise to send soldiers of 10 once a month to combine tactics to better equip my allied kingdom.

If an allied citizen, government official or leader is harmed by my own people I will take immediate action to give justice on behalf of the kingdom and its people.

Summary of the above statements. If the kingdom I am allied with has good reason to call for war and my own kingdom is in good standing I will provide power and protection. I will not put my own people at risk, but I will provide soldiers (within the minimum boundaries necessary) and I will provide advice and guidance using my own judgment. If soldiers and warriors are needed I will evaluate what I can and cannot do and carry out my side of the bargain. Ex. The kingdom I am allied with has declared war, as a result of a few murders within the capital. It has not been proven, it was the other kingdoms doing. I will not provide aid, but I will provide guidance and advice. This upholds all main virtues.

Land Boundaries

I promise to never go past my boundaries, exceeding that of the land and sea respectively.

I promise to allow my boundaries to stay open to the inhabitants of my allied kingdom to promote peace and unity between our two kingdoms.

Summary of the above statements. I recognize that I own only the Paradise island or the Marley Ocean. In that sense, my boundaries are open to my allied kingdom to promote peace and unity. Citizens are able to travel freely between these boundaries to visit and meet with friends and possibly family in the near future. I utilize my boundaries by creating a safe place and passage for visitors. This upholds the virtue of respect and loyalty. By allowing my citizens to make relationships with the allied citizens.

Resources

I promise to share my resources (including fuel, water, and food) within reason, with my allied kingdom.

I promise to return or give the amount borrowed and if not, to give laborers or most valuable items in exchange for the sum.

Summary of the above statements. If it is within my kingdom's abilities, I will provide food, water and fuel. I will accept free trade of all items except weapons, unless stated otherwise by kingdom aids and advisers.

Any statement not upholding the 4 virtues is subject to change based on the ruler of the kingdom. Any leader who wants to add more statements must read through the virtues, must be a leader for more than 2 years, and must have the approval of it's aides, advisers, and the other allied leader. This ensures the simplest form of the statement and that it will uphold all aspects of every virtue.

Ratification: Date April 6, 850

Witnesses: Erwin Smith and Levi Ackerman

The leaders Queen Delphine of Atlantia and Queen Historia of Eldia agree to the above statements and adhere to uphold the virtues in all decision making in the future. We promise to stay united and keep your best interest at heart.
