Your father just told you about the calamity. "What are you doing?! She is a child, you cannot expect her to become a warrior like you!" Your mom yelled at your father. "She always wanted to be a warrior, accept it! She now has the chance to become a real one!"

Your parents were fighting and you did not understand exactly why. Since you can think you wanted to be a warrior like your father. Revali shares the same desire, so it was quite normal for you to become one. But what was this bad thing, that is going to happen? Hyrule had seventeen years to prepare for it, is it not logical Hyrule is going to win?

"What is going to happen exactly?" you asked your parents. They stopped fighting immediately. Your mom gave your father a stern look. "We don't know yet. The massager only said it is called Calamity Ganon and it wants to destroy Hyrule. Generals of the army from all races have a meeting next week at Hyrule Castle." "Daddy, I still want to be a warrior and make you proud."

- One week later -

In the morning you ran over to Revali's hut but he was not there. His mom greeted you instead. "Oh, hello (Y/N), Revali already left for training. You can find him at Warbler's Nest." "Why is he there so early?" "I don't know. He said something about becoming the best archer and left." You chuckled after her comment. "Yes... this definitely sounds like him. Thank you and see you later."

When you arrived at Warbler's Nest, Revali did not notice you at first, since he was so busy with training. Before you approached him, you stood a part away from him and watched him for a while. He really had a talent for archery, maybe one day he will become someone important for the Rito army.

You moved towards him and soon he saw you. "What are you doing here?" he asked you. "I could ask you the same. Why are you training so early? Usually you are waking up at this time." He chuckled and sat down for a break.

"I overheard a conversation yesterday between the Rito General and the Captains. The Generals from all races had a meeting yesterday at Hyrule Castle. It was something about this Calamity, which is going to happen. According to them, the King is going to search for so called Champions and they have to assist against the calamity with some ancient machines."

These was a quite interesting information but you still did not t get it why he was training so early. "What does it have to do with your training?" His smile grew wide and his wing shot skyward. "I am going to be one of these champions! I want to be the best archer and one day I am going to be the leading role against the Calamity. This is why I have to train hard every day."

"Revali, why is it so important to you, to be one of these champions?" When you asked this, he had some sadness in his eyes. "Look at me, I am one of the smallest Rito's and you know how the bigger ones are bullying me. I want to be better than them. The other reason is my mother. Since I lost my father, I am everything she has and I want to make her proud."

The lost of his father hit him very hard, two years ago. He did not talk much about it but you knew it was very hard for him. "Are you not afraid of this upcoming war? What are these ancient machines?" you asked. "I have no idea what they are because I did not heard that much. Guess we will see it by the time. But (Y/N)... will you help me with all of this?"

"Of course I will help you, you are my best friend, just tell me what to do. And it should not be until late or I am going to be punished. But Revali, promise me one thing." "What is it?" "Don't forget me. If you want a harder training that's ok but you still have to make time for me." He looked at you. "I will always have time for you."
