Chapter 23

When you, Revali and part of your troops arrived at eastern Hyrule, Vah Ruta was already freed from Ganon's control and Link was already in Vah Rudania. Zora's and Goron's were fighting the last bit of Monsters and waited for everything to be over. In the middle of everything were Impa, Zelda, Mipha and a tall, red Zora. As you arrived, you walked over to them. "Let me guess, the tall Zora is from the future, isn't he?" Revali asked Zelda.

"Indeed. This is Sidon, Mipha's younger brother." she said. Sidon overheard his name and walked over to you. "Hi, I am Sidon, the Zora Prince. Nice to meet you" he gave you a huge smile. "Hello Sidon, my Name is (Y/N) and I am the General of the Rito army." He was a little surprised but in a good way. "A General? You must be a strong warrior then, I like that. And besides, I like your feathers. They are just as fiery as my scales, this is a good sign" he winked.

You giggled and looked over to Revali who was not amused at all. In fact, he looked jealous so you decided to play a little game. "We red one's are quite unique, aren't we?" You touched his arm playfully and Revali's eyes widened. "You are tall Sidon. I did not know there were so tall and handsome Zora's amongst you" you gave him a smirk. "My father is tall as well so I guess I received his genes. And there are not many Zora's who are as handsome as me" he said.

Zelda, Impa and Mipha were just standing there, mouths agape. Revali huffed and walked away. "I have to check up at our Champion, he seems distracted" you winked and went after him. "Revali, is everything ok?" you laughed internally. "Why don't you go ask your handsome Zora Prince?" he snapped back. With his comment your laugh busted out. "What's so funny?" He was getting angry. You hugged him and gave him a deep kiss.

"I would rather ask my Rito Prince" you smiled. "Sorry for teasing you, I just wanted to see how you would react. A few hours ago I told you I love you and no one can change that" you kissed him again. Revali sighed. "Damn it, I cannot even stay mad at you. Don't do that again, you are my world and I do not want to lose you." You took his face between your hands. "You won't lose me, I promise. Let's go back to the others and see what we have to do next."

Shortly after you joined the group again, you heard someone approaching. As you turned around you saw Link, Daruk and a younger Goron. He introduced himself as Yunobo and told everyone how he came from the future. "So, what do we have to do next, Princess?" Daruk asked.

"The Divine Beasts are all free from Ganon's control now. I do not think we can take over the Guardians now but we can try it with the Sheikah Towers. The Akkala Citadel is the nearest, we should start with this one." Most of you nodded but Link interrupted. "Princess, if I may. On my way up to Vah Rudania I was able to have a look at the Citadel and unfortunately it looks like it is under attack. There were Guardians and Monsters everywhere. I am sure we can take the Citadel back but we have to be smart and make a plan how to attack. Fortunately, we have a General here who is familiar with planning missions and attacks."

All eyes were on you. "Ummm... ok" you were thinking for some time. "We can use the Divine Beast to our advantage. Cephla Lake is right under the Citadel and Mipha and Sidon can attack with Vah Ruta. You can shoot some of the Guardians, if not all. The others can fight the Monsters the usual way. Revali and I are going first to observe from above. We have to see if there are monster camps or other dangerous stuff. Wait here for our report."

The others nodded and you and Revali leaped off towards the Citadel. The sight was worse than you thought. It was already night and around the Citadel were monsters everywhere. Not only that but Guardians and small fires as well. As you already had guessed, there were some camps. Something on top of the Citadel caught your eyes. It seems like there were some Hylians with white hair... Sheikah's!

"Revali! We have to go back quickly!" He nodded and went back with you. Just as you landed, everyone wanted to know what was happening. "We need to hurry. There are several camps, a lot of monsters, guardians and fires. But the worst thing... there are some Sheikah's trapped in the Citadel." Impa gasped loudly.

"Mipha and Sidon, go to your Divine Beast and attack as soon as we all arrive there. Link, you are our strongest warrior, try to enter the Citadel and go searching for the Sheikah's. Daruk and Yunobo, you will destroy the camps on the Parade Grounds. Impa and Zelda, you are going to destroy the camps on the eastern side. Revali, Teba and me, we will attack from above. First, we will help Link until he enters the Citadel. After that, we are going to separate to help the others. As soon as most of the monsters outside are killed, we will all enter the Citadel to help defend it." You said and everyone was on their way.
