Revali's p.o.v.

What did just happen? I do not understand why (Y/N) took care of me. This is so embarrassing. I, Champion of the Rito, had to be taken care of. Sure, it was nice she did it but it was her fault in the first place. Because of her the Hinox hit me. On the other side, she just wanted to help me and I cannot blame her.

She was scared the History could repeat itself. I know how it is to lose a father and how much it hurts. Poor (Y/N), I cannot imagine how she felt when she saw me lying there in the snow. She had to finish the fight by herself and after that, she had to drag me somehow to the flight range. I owe her one for keeping everything a secret.

Now I know why the food smell different from my mother's and why her red feather was there. I guess the dreams I had about her, were no dreams at all. Didn't she once caressed my head? It felt nice... Oh my, what am I thinking? And why is there a warm feeling inside me when I think about it? It could not be possible to have feelings for her, no. But whatever this is, I have to be nicer. She deserved it.

I do not want to admit it but Kent was right about my behaving. The Ritos are looking up to me and in times like these, when a war is forming, we have to fight together. We have to be able to rely on each other and as the head of the Rito army, (Y/N) and I have to work together. Only this way, we can win the upcoming war. Next time I see her, I have to talk to her. But first, I have to talk to my mother.

No one's p.o.v.

Revali's mother was sitting in her hut, reading, when he arrived. "Mother, I was wondering why the hearty raddish soup, you made recently at the flight range, smelt different. Did you use new ingredients?" She gulped once and looked a little nervous. "Yes Revali, I have a new recipe. But I do not think it was that good. I still prefer my old way of making it." He put on his sweetest smile and looked at her.

"What a pity, I like the new recipe more. Couldn't you cook just once for me? I will help you, just tell me the ingredients and I will be on my way to the store." She was visibly looking for excuses but he continued playing his part. "Where did you got this recipe anyway? Was it from a certain red Rito?" "Ehm, what do you mean my son?"

"Mother, I know it was (Y/N) who took care of me at the flight range. I am wondering why you lied to me? I am your child. You should be the most trustworthy person in my life." Revali's mother sighed heavily and put the book aside. "I am sorry Revali. It was her wish to take care of you but for some reasons she wanted to keep it a secret. I was so grateful she did it because I was not able to. And you should be grateful too."

He sat down beside her. "I took some time to think about the situation and I am grateful but you should have told me anyway." "I know, I am sorry baby." she said. "Mom, do not call me baby, I am too old for that." She gave him a soft smile. "You will always be my baby and your age does not matter. Did you talk to (Y/N) about the situation?"

"Not yet. It is going to be a hard conversation. I was not a good friend the last couple of years." Revali sighed. "Revali listen, she did all that because she cares. It does not matter what happened in the past. Now is the time to look forward. We all know the Calamity is going to strike soon, so made the best out of every situation. None of us knows how much time we have left. Be that friend she deserves."

"You are right. Thank you mom." After talking to his mother, Revali wanted to make a plan on how to talk to you. He flew around Rito Village to clear his mind. Should he just do it or should it be something special? 'We are not going on a date, it should not be too special. Otherwise, she will fall in love with me... Damn, stop it! I really should start being less snooty. She knows me since we were little, now we both achieved our goals and I can be my old self again.' he thought. That's when he spottet the right place to talk to you.
