Part 33: a walk to a walk in the park

SR: (wakes up early)
Shoot! I nearly forgot!!
(Goes into the guest bedroom to see if dave is still asleep)
DV: (fast asleep)
SR: (whispers to herself) perfect!
(Runs down stairs and calls astrowife)
AW: (She answers the phone) Hello? Who's this?
SR: it me, sardi, I need some advice from you
AW: Sure, sure. What's up?
SR: how do I get a guy to like me
AW: Well, uhh...
SR: please im going on a walk with dave at the park and I dont want to mess it up....
AW: Well, just take it slow, okay?
SR: Okay okay, anything else???
AW: Ask things about him, but make sure to tell him things about yourself. It can't be just about you or him.
SR: That's the only thing!! Whenever I ask about him, all he says is that his name is dave...
AW: Really? Well... um.... just make sure to have fun with him! The more you grow closer to him, the better.
SR: thank youuuuuu cya later and have fun!! (Hangs up)
(sighs) welp I guess I uh, get ready for the day....
(takes a shower, applies just enough makeup and puts her sun hat on)
DV: (having just woke up)
SR: (doesn't notice he is awake)
DV: Good morning, Sardiniastan!
SR: Oh hello!! Are you excited to go to the park??
DV: Yeah! It'll be fun!
SR: (dreamily) yeahr it will...
(Shakes head) WELl we have cereal downstairs for breakfast, i'm going to have some, care to join me??
DV: Yes please! I'm super hungry!!!
SR: okay!!! (Rushes down stairs and grabs two bowls)
DV: (Following downstairs just as fast)
SR: What cereal do you want? We have Cheerios and Reeses puffs
DV: Reese's!!
SR: YEAHHH good choice...
(Pours them both a heaping bowl of Reeses puffs and pours milk into the bowls)
DV: Thaaaaaat's a lot of cereal.
SR: Yeah, I hope you're hungry!!
DV: I'll try..
SR: erp, you don't have to finish all of it...
(begins shoveling cereal into her mouth)
DV: (trying to copy her)
SR: ...
(Notices him doing it)
(Puts the spoon on her head)
DV: (confused for a second, then puts the spoon on his head as well)
SR: (burst out laughing) what are you doing silly!!!
DV: Well- uh- uhmmm- I was-
SR: (still laughing pretty hard) you're so silly....
DV: Hahaha... yeah.. silly.. (he quickly takes the spoon off)
SR: (wiping a tear of her face) yeah... (grabs her spoon and eats the rest of the cereal)
DV: (embarrassed, but continues to eat the rest)
-~They finish their meal in silence~-
DV: ssssooOOO how about that park?
SR: YES we need to tell astroson were leaving first
DV: Gotcha, gotcha
SR: (hurries up stairs and opens astrosons door) hey we're leaving on a da- er uh thing in the park
AS: (Still laying in bed) Mmph. Okay.
SR: call your father if you need anything (walking out of the room and down the stairs)
So you're ready to go?
DV: (adjusting his hat) Mhmmm! Yep!
SR: okay lets get going! (Opens and hold the front door for him)
DV: Thaaank you! (He heads out happily)
SR: so uh, since I cant drive, and we dont have a car, we have to walk to the park before we can get to the park to go on a walk....
DV: I don't mind!
SR: yeah yeah okay okay
...
(They walk in silence for a few minutes)
DV: (He's happily humming to himself, enjoying being outside)
SR: (to nervous to say anything but really wants to strike up a conversation)
DV: It's really beautiful out here, right?
SR: yeah.... we picked a nice day to do this....
DV: I'm so glad you got me out of ROTSAR. Can't believe I missed all of this!
SR: Oh yeah it's err nothing... I'm glad I got you out too...
DV: Seriously, words cannot explain how much!
SR: (flustered) afrhwaehafa yaknow just helpin everyone I can....
DV: Is everything good? You seem nervous!
SR: Me? nervous? W-w-w-what makes you think that???
DV: You're sweating, stuttering, and basically showing every single sign of anxiety.
SR: Well uh... UH.. yeah I am a bit nervous, traffic coming into the park can be uh pretty bad because of the uh weather and uh I dont want you to get hurt...
AND ME! I dont want to get hurt too! Yeah yeah...
DV: Pretty kind of you, worrying about me getting hurt!
SR: y e a h ....
DV: (Continuing to happily hum)
-~they soon arrive at the park~-

Part 34: a walk in the park...

DV: Wowww! This place looks awesome!
SR: Yeah!! LOOK! (Points to the lake) GEESE!!!!
DV: What? Where!!
SR: (grabs his hand and pulls him down to the lake) SEE! SEE! The big brown birds!! Those are geese!!!
DV: (Intently watching the geese)
woah...
SR: (still is holding his hand while watching the geese)
DV: (He notices Sardi holding his hand, then looks up at her)
SR: uhhhhhhhh (her white stripe turns a bright red)
DV: Errr- hehehhaha..
SR: heh... heh.. heh...
(Two geese begin to fight in the background)
Goose: honk honk!
-~ they break the grasp they had on each other's hands~-
DV: ...Theyre really aggressive..
SR: uh uh uh YEAH nature is like that, very aggressive, but also beautiful....
DV: Why are they trying to kill eachother?? Can't they talk it out?
SR: in nature, actions are stronger than words
DV: Good thing we're smarter, right? Hahaha..
SR: yes we are very smart, s-m uhhhhh hrmm. YES WE ARE SMART! 😅
DV: I gotta admit, despite the geese, it's really peaceful here.
SR: yeahhhhh.....
DV: (Sits down on the grass watching the geese fight)
SR: (sits down next to him, a bit closer than she did the previous night)
(in her head) take it slow... just like Astrodudes wife said....
DV: (oblivious)
SR: (inches closer to him)
DV: (Leans onto Sardi)
It's been nice hanging out with you..
SR: ...
(in absolute shock, but keeping it internal)
(Takes a deep breath in and out)
(Leans into him a bit)
It really has...
DV: (Leaning completely) Hmmmhmmm...
SR: (gently holds one of his hands)
(In a soft and gentle voice) I love you dave...
DV: ....
I think I do, too...
SR: (sighs in relief and simply sits, leaning up against him, holding his hand)
DV: (Sighing happily)
-~about an hour passes and a quite gurgling could be heard emanating from sardi~-
DV: Is everything okay?
SR: erm, I think i'm a bit hungry...
DV: You wanna go home and eat??
SR: Uh yeah that probably is a good idea... (a bit frantic) Astrodudes son might be worried about us! How long have we been gone?!??
DV: Ooop.. probably a while..
SR: (gets up clumsy and holds out her hand to help him up)
DV: (he takes her hand and stands up)
SR: Come on! We don't want to make him worried!! (She pulls dave along as she rushes out of the park)
DV: (Rushing behind her)
SR: (looks back and sees his slightly panicked face and giggles)
DV: (Running as fast as he can)
-~they quickly arrive back at home~-

Part 35: Sardi's Secret

SR: (opens the door and walks in) (completely out of breath) we're.... home... (wheezes)
AS: (Sitting at the table, drinking coffee and playing on his IPad)
Hmm?
SR: we were gone for like uhh (looks at the clock) uhhhhhh I cant read clocks so idk how long we have been gone but its been a while
AS: You're fine. I can take care of myself.
DV: (Face planting on the floor out of exhaustion)
SR: your more self sufficient then ill ever be... (still out of breath)
oh dave... d- d- daaaaa- (faints from exhaustion)
AS: Are.. Are you two okay??
SR: (unresponsive)
AS: ....
Seriously, they can't even take care of themselves..
About time I conducted my research on Sardi's biology..
DV: (groans a little bit)
AS: (He grabbed Dave first, putting him on the couch, then returning to Sardi, dragging her upstairs)
(Carefully laying Sardi onto an examination table.)
Where to start...
SR: (coughs in her sleep and her mouth shoots out)
AS: (He jumps back, staring at it in horror)
SR: (her mouth becomes limp and flops down, hanging off the table)
AS: (He puts on gloves, examining the eel mouth closely)
(After pushing open the mouth, he jots down notes)
SR: (begins drooling)
AS: (He closes the jaw, putting some of the drool in a test tube for later purposes, then pokes her in an attempt to wake her up)
SR: (jaw sucks back into her face)
uh huh what's going on... (in a daze)
AS: Are you feeling alright?
SR: yeah.... just a bit thirsty...
AS: Go on ahead. I'll be in my room.
SR: (stumbles down the stairs into the kitchen)
DV: (asleep on the couch)
SR: ill let him sleep... (pours herself a cup of water and sits down on the couch next to him)
(leans against him as she sips water)
DV: (snoring)
SR: (sits peacefully with him for a while, but eventually gets bored and turns the TV on)
DV: Hhhhmm? (he was woken up by the sound of the tv)
SR: Sorry, I was getting bored....
DV: It's okay..
SR: ...
Sooooooooo...
About earlier....
DV: ...Well, uhh... umm.. uhh..
SR: Were you serious?? Cuz like if you were... like... uh...
DV: ...I think? I don't know.. this is all new for me.
SR: yeah, yeah, I get it... it's new for me too...
Not really anyone's first pick ever haha....
DV: I barely have a concept of what love is!
SR: oh.... well... love, its kinda like when you care about someone so much, that you would do anything for them, even when you don't like them, when you go out of your way to show them how much they mean to you and when you see them smile, you just get in a better mood, because seeing them happy makes you happy...
DV: Uh huh.. go on..
SR: ...and when you could just stare into their big, white, eyes for hours on end... (she's starting into his eyes)
DV:...I think I get it.
SR: sooo.....
DV: Ermmmmm... what are you watching on TV?
SR: (grabs Dave's hands) I NEED TO KNOW!!! DO YOU LOVE ME BACK???
DV: GAHH!!! I- I do!!
SR: i'm sorry for shouting.... sometimes you can be a bit oblivious.. but, as I said, I will still love you (hugs him)
DV: (He hugs her back) I love you too!
SR: soooooo idk what I was watching I just pulled up a channel...
DV: Let's watch some random stuff.
SR: yeahhhh I like random stuff
-~they sit together for hours, flipping threw channels, seeing whats on tv~-
DV: (He leans on Sardi while they're watching.)
SR: (in her head) I can't believe someone actually feels the way he feels about me...
DV: (Happily sitting with her)
AS: (Coming downstairs, looking at the two with a confused look on his face)
..Eerrr...
SR: uhhhhhhhh
(quickly move away from dave) uh we were just uh uhh UHHHHHH
DV: (Confused, moving away too) We're just- just watching TV!!
SR: YEAH WATCHING TV!!!
