→ Cults]CERELIA WELLSE is a force to be reckoned with.
Cerelia snickered quietly to herself as she scribbled down these words on the back of her notebook in a lousy handwriting.
In her defence, one can't blame her for such idiocracy, Professor Lincoln was boring them to death with all his drawling.
She ran her eyes across the barely occupied classroom, lazily pursing her lips as she waited for the clock to tick eleven.
". . .I want your assignments by the end of the week. No excuses whatsoever."
Cerelia sighed to herself. Fifteen more minutes to go, and this man was still stuck on the assignments part.
She wished she could compel him and leave now, not that she can't compel, it's just that she had made a dare with her sister dearest to endure this lesson without compelling it off her back. Besides, a waffle out of Evie's pocket held too much value for her starving stomach.
'You're killing me.' She texted Evie.
'You're a vampire, you can't be killed. Remember?' she texted back after a minute or so, accompanied by a vampire emoji.
'Says the other vampire who's starving me.' Cerelia snorted to herself, briefly flickering her eyes to the projector where an illustrated explanation of Chemical Equilibrium was running.
'Just seven and a half more minutes to go, sissy. Hold on tight.'
'As if it's that easy.' Cerelia scowled to herself, her foot tapping in impatience.
"Yes, Ms. Wellse?" Professor Lincoln said out of the blue and it took a minute for Cerelia to realise that her foot tapping had drawn his attention to her along with the half a dozen of the other students.
"Uh," she said glibly, "nothing, Sir."
"Bored, are we?" he raised an inquiring brow, crossing his arms.
Great, now everyone was full on staring at her.
"Just, uh, restless." she offered a useless shrug of her shoulder.
God, she might have come up with a better comeback if only she wasn't starving at the moment.
"Focus, girl." he tsked, sighing as if in pity, "Finals are around the corner. And I do not want even a single one of you failing. And the assignments should be on my desk. . ."
Cerelia tuned him out, having his attention already shifted away from her.
'I'm about to win.' she texted under the table, flickering her gaze to the professor timely, along with some useless nods of her head. 'I want the waffles waiting for me without your pouty face.'
