THE THREE of them woke up with pounding headaches, as expected.

"God, I hate this. Why do I have to suffer from these headaches, while you both can chill?" Camille groaned to herself, holding a fresh ice pack to her head as the Wellse sisters drank from blood bags in order to heal themselves of the migraine.

"Someday, Cami," Evie began, clapping her on the shoulder, "you'll see the light and choose the better life of us saints."

Cami rolled her eyes, playfully shrugging her hand off as Cerelia snorted at her sister's words.

"Oh, now I'll hop off to see my lovely Davina." Evie said looking at the clock which showed sharp noon. "And, Merry Christmas, guys!"

"Merry Christmas!" They chorused back as Evie left the flat.

"Seriously, though, I don't remember half of what happened last night." Cerelia laughed as she threw her used blood bag into the bin.

"Same, girl. I remember playing truth and dare but not what shit we did in that game."

"I know, right. That is like the only memory of last night that I could muster up." Cerelia laughed as she picked her phone up. "And, see, I've changed my contact names to some silly emojis."

"What's mine?" Cami asked with a smile, rolling her eyes dramatically when Cerelia showed her the blonde emoji.

"I know. I know." She laughed, looking at her phone. "I can't understand half of them now. Oh, this is gonna be a hell of a riddle to solve."

"Enjoy, my love." Cami chuckled, wincing to herself as a stabby pain emerged in her head.

"You should rest up otherwise it won't go away even till evening."

"I guess you're right." Cami groaned to herself, standing up from the couch. "I'm crashing in your bed."

"Sure." Cerelia gave her approval as she changed Lucien's contact name back to normal and stared at the chat box. Why hasn't he texted anything after their yesterday's conversation? Should she text first? But he usually wakes up way earlier than noon.

She sighed to herself as she typed out the merry christmas text with the tree emojis and hit send. Too whipped, wasn't she?

She wasn't expecting an instant reply but at least in a few minutes? She gave up refreshing her chat box after five minutes and set her phone aside with the notification sound on.

"Cere?" Cami's voice called out from inside.

"Yes? You okay, Cam?" Cerelia asked as she went to poke her head inside her room.
