→ TV Girl ]CERELIA FOUND it difficult to breathe. Surrounded by nothing but endless water, she tried to swim upwards only to find herself unable to do so.
Running on a precarious quantity of air, she kicked her limbs out, trying to get out of the dark water which threatened to swallow her whole.
She glanced down, trying to find out the object stopping her escape, but her eyes met with the most familiar brown ones.
Evie's unblinking stare stuttered her heart to an immediate stop. Cerelia gasped, horrified at the sight of her sister's greyed up skin and dead, cold eyes.
She hurriedly looked back up, the burning in her lungs prompting her to try to break free of her clutches. She saw the silhouette of two men over the water.
Finally able to swim up due to the sudden disappearance of Evie's earlier grip on her, she broke free to the surface, gasping for air as she drew in lungfuls of the precious air.
She was met with the sight of a kneeling Lucien across the door which was right in front of her, just in reach.
She blinked at him, confused, unable to understand what he was doing.
A gasp of shock left her lips as blood began pouring out of his lips. Seconds later, he was pushed into the water.
Cerelia looked down in horror at his sinking body and the prominent hole where his heart should have been.
A scream left her lips at the sight. She dived right in to get him but he was nowhere to be found, seemingly having disappeared.
Cerelia broke back to the surface, drawing in lungfuls of air until her eyes landed on the sight of Klaus standing there with a smirk plastered on his face.
"You thought I would let him live?" He laughed cruelly at her. "He is dead, Cerelia. Lucien is dead. Just like Evie."
Cerelia woke up with a gasp, her cheeks stained with tears.
Her eyes immediately searched for Lucien, chest heaving in panic until eyes landed on him, where he laid right beside her on the bed. The last shred of sanity returned back to her as she realised that he was alright. All of that was just a dream.
Lucien looked at her in worry, the exact expression on his face not visible over the darkness of the night. Cerelia shuffled closer to him, clutching onto him for comfort.
