How was it that one of the stupidest students ever became one of the strongest Inferi ever? You would assume that he was more brawn than brains but he was never one to prove himself worth Draco's time.
Crabbe was the one to blame for the Room Of Requirement catching on fire and he fell to his death as he, Draco and Blaise Zambini were trying to escape.
How else did an Inferi come back to life if he or she was killed?

REVENGE.

Vincent Crabbe was pissed. He was angered by the fact that his best friend didn't come looking for his body after the fire had calmed down and the ashes had magically blown away.
Vincent was able to get out but, he was very much burnt and almost dead by the time everyone had gone to the train.

Vincent was almost to the front door of the school when he saw some dark wizards being forced to clean up the school with Filch who was given permission to send them back to Azkaban or use them for clean up.
What to do? If he was seen as almost dead, someone for sure would report it. He would be a dead man for sure by then. He was walking back to the common room when a dark wizard saw him and smirked

"Where's Malfoy?" The voice asked and Vincent was in so much pain to speak.
"What to do with you Vincent. You had a job to do. Your best friend left you to die yes?" They chuckled and used their wand to heal Vincent and make him strong again.
"W..why are you helping me? I didn't deserve this. I almost killed him by mistake." Vincent started but the figure smirked and walked up putting a hand on his shoulder
"Every wizard deserves a second chance.. but I'm giving you one condition. I will help you find your friend but you must be the one to kill him."
Vincent shook his head at first but was still furious at Draco for not coming back.
"If I agree on this, will you help me regain my full power where I can't die? I wanna be immortal like the dark one.."
The figure laughed and removed his hood.
"The dark one has been killed by that Potter boy.. he has left the school with everyone and has gone home with his new family. You want draco dead? I want that Potter boy gone from this life.. you bring me Potter, you'll get your revenge on Malfoy." He nodded and Vincent bit his lip looking around at how smokey and on fire the school still was.

"It's a deal. I won't kill him, but I want to scare Malfoy to join my side and rule this army again. This was OUR plan together, he promised he would never let anything happen to me during this war." Vincent hissed and the figure smirked "Careful now. Potter has brought Draco Malfoy to their side and they are protecting Draco's now wife who is mud blood."
Vincent flinched and grew angrier knowing draco broke that promise too, not just to him but their lifestyle of bullying and being powerful in the school.
"What do I need to do? I want him to myself." Crabbe asked and the figure smirked.
