(Author Note: I have randomly picked a name for the dragon since it was never given in the books or movies. Please enjoy either way ❤️)
Albus sighed and bit his lip looking outside the window in the common room and raised a brow when he saw his father and Draco fly off on their brooms out of the school ground and to the quidditch pitch. He decided to follow them on his own broom and caught up in the air.
"Where are you going?" He asked both as Harry smiled looking back "Draco and I are going to Romania with your Uncle Ron. You want to meet a real dragon?"
"Heck yes! How long are we staying?" Albus asked as Ron handed him goggles "Romania is going to be very windy the first time as we make it into the skies, so we need to stay low toward the ground but in the trees. For now I want to see your speed on the course."
Albus stopped his broom and Harry looked back at him stopping immediately. "What's wrong?"
Albus bit his lip and rubbed the back of his neck "let's talk in the tents.."
They all landed nearby and Albus didn't like this feeling that his father was going after dragons. He was told the story of when his father was almost what felt like death during the Triwizard Tournament.
"You're not going after that dragon right? You know I have visions of good and bad things.." Albus looked at Harry who sighed and shook his head "You're too smart for even myself." He looked over as Charlie walked over with a cane and a face mask to hide his sickness.
"I'm.. I'm glad you boys came." He coughed into his mask and looked at Albus "you're not going with us, are you? This one is dangerous and I know you're not the fastest flyer.. yet anyways." He smirked and Albus tilted his head confused which made Harry chuckle. "Albus is coming along, Charlie, at least just this once so he can see the baby dragons. He won't come with us to find my dragon but he will stay with you since you asked for some help on the dragon farm."
Albus pouted, but nodded in agreement. This was his father's mental health when it came to the Triwizard Tournament so he wouldn't want to worry him.
"H..Harry are you sure he's still alive? After that egg part of the games, he never flew back and came after you."
Harry shook his head "I don't know, but I have to be sure they're not keeping him. I don't want karma kicking me in the butt this time and knowing Voldemort, he always loved torturing people and animals I grew close to." He shrugged.
He wasn't close to the dragon but Hagrid had told Harry when they snuck out to the forest that all dragons were misunderstood creatures, it was the farmers that treated them like crap on the way over in the cages.
Charlie sighed and and looked at Albus. "This is your challenge, and it's going to be somewhat fun for everyone. I have brought smaller dragons which are trained and you're going to be the fastest you can be flying through the course. two courses of my dragons but then when it comes to magic in the air." He coughed again but chuckled.
Albus nodded and bit his lip grabbing his broom from the tents and walked out.
"Do you have everything?" Charlie asked and Albus looked at Harry who nodded as he put on the goggles. Charlie put a shield around the quidditch pitch and looked at Draco. "You might as well prepare yourself."
Draco raised an brow and grabbed his own broom and goggles.
Charlie spoke in a dragon like tongue and they were all pulled into a hole into the desserts of Romania.
You could see dragons for miles in theair and on the ground in cages being taught by trainers and farmers who treated the wounds and weak.
It was sandy and dangerous in the area until they walked into the tents.
Albus smiled as he saw baby dragons in the cages but being taken care of by women muggles who were going to forget all of this happened in time but they needed the help.
"Charlie? Why are there muggles here? Won't they forget after they're done?"
Charlie sighed and nodded "Saint Mongos was attacked in London so we brought them here. They will be paid either way but they'll be confused on why they have money from something that was only a dream.. come I'll show you the real fun we have here."
Albus, Harry and Draco followed Charlie. Albus walked outside with Draco and stopped Harry putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Your old friend is here.. he has forgiven you but you need to take it slow.."
Harry raised a brow and bit his lip walking outside the tent only to look right into the eyes of the Hungarian Horntail which he fought during the Triwizard Tournament.
Harry's eyes went wide but he kept his composure as he walked up to the cage.
The dragon was weaker than before, wounded. The head of that dragon turned and he hissed at Harry who put his hands up.
