Albus had slept big time and let his body calm down after all that Ancient magic managed to heal him for a few hours. How? Albus didn't even know but he had mumbled something in his sleep where ancient magic can't be controlled without the knowing wizard who speaks of it.
Albus groaned and got up looking at the skies as he rolled to his side. It wasn't even dark out yet. What time was it? Albus got up and joined everyone in the Great Hall looking around for Vincent and sighed shaking his head "Damn it, he really left." He sighed and walked over to join Draco and Scorpius at the Slytherin table putting his head on Scorpius' shoulder closing his eyes for a moment only to feel a break stick out to his lips.
"Eat..." Scorpius' voice spoke and Albus opened his eyes putting the bread into his mouth "you'll need energy for tonight." He smiled and kissed his head, Albus nodding "I don't want to do this.. it's a lot." He mumbled and Scorpius looked at his father who was eating his dinner quietly.
"You don't have a choice right now. These are dark times and when you collect this ancient magic for yourself, you'll become stronger. It's better to be honest that you're the one with this magic, never Vincent and definitely never going to be another death eater who can kill of us. I know deep down Vincent will join you either way since he knows the hallways better than anyone."
Albus raised a brow but didn't question it
"Where is Vincent now?" He asked and Draco shrugged "knowing that bastard, he's probably in Hogsmeade. Thank Merlin it's Halloween or he'd be killed instantly for being an undead Inferi."
Albus nodded and took a plate and filled it up with food eating and taking his time.
"Where's my father?" Albus asked.
"He wasn't with you after you got up?" Draco asked and Albus shook his head " I assumed he went with you or with Mum back to their common room. I looked on the map before I came here and didn't see them." He tilted his head and Draco facepalmed "they're probably in the Room of Requirement. Knowing your parents, they're coming up with yet again some crazy plan so you're not tempted." He chuckled and Albus shrugged eating "they can't stop me from using the dark magic. Ancient magic is new to me like anyone, but dark magic will be used to protect my family and friends. Fenrir is here underneath the bridge already and he's ready to attack."
Draco looked up at Albus
"How do you know this?" He asked and Albus smirked a bit "the ancient magic has a voice ya know. A woman's voice. She.. she introduced herself as Isadora. I've seen her thoughts and memory. My father was right. The ancient magic is dangerous. It can be used to take away all emotion and pain but it can be used to kill the innocent if not taken seriously and stored carefully, but turned into dark magic and kill worthy." He signed and put his food down.
Right then the doors were thrown open and Vincent came crashing into the hard
Fenrir growled with blood red eyes and students yelled in fear.
"Fen..." Draco hissed and looked at Albus "get the two of you and everyone out of here.. now!" He ordered and both boys grabbed their friends and ran tbroufh the back hallways to get out of the great hall.
"MALFOY!!!" Fenrir laughed and growled turning into himself, blood down his face "figured you would be helping this undead freak! Found him walking around the town hanging at Hogshead drinking his hopeful last drink ever before I murder his ass for even thinking of being there the first place."
Vincent groaned and stood up slowly only to be kicked back down and growled at.
"Where's the pure magic child with my magic that you promised me Malfoy?!" He growled louder where the walls shook and Albus raised a brow where Scorpius pulled him back "we need to go. Dad can handle that flea bag."
Albus shook his head "I'm not leaving Vince, he doesn't deserve this." He sighed and bit his lip looking around and smirked knowing his father left the invisible cloak nearby.
"There you are.." he chuckled and looked back at Scorpius "go find the headmaster and my father. I can do this."
Scorpius bit his lip and looked back at his classmates.
"Be careful.. don't you dare die." Scorpius said and left with the others quickly.
Albus sighed and put the cloak over himself and magic over his scent so he could easily grab Vincent and leave hopefully without being seen or sniffed out.
He snuck the quickest but quietest he could taking deep breathes but quiet ones so he wasn't heard.
Vincent groaned in pain looking over and Fenrir was fighting with Draco who saw the footsteps of Albus close by.
"You know Fen, your mother would be disappointed in your kind. She didn't expect you to be this fur ball full of fluff and anger. I used to respect you."
Fenrir growled and laughed. "Respect me? You betrayed us and me for these lower life forms. You're no better than your old man who almost got us killed for not standing behind the dark lord." He growled and draco smirked "you think you scare me Fen? I have dark magic on my side. Most of the students do too where you're nothing but a big piece of hunted wolf for dinner tomorrow night. I'd be careful." He laughed and motioned Albus to get Vincent out of there.
"You think I care about dying? I'm an immortal werewolf now. Even if the pure blood boy could find my deep wound of a weak spot, he and his mudblood blood traitor father won't be able to get rid of me without that ancient magic crap you told me about." He growled again but lighter trying to read Draco's emotions where draco was very bad at hiding his weaknesses.
"You don't even know where it is, do you? You've been leading me on where you think I'm not going to kill you for lying." Fenrir smirked and blood ran down his chin.
