The goblins were the ones to build Hogwarts underpass holes and caves to hide themselves from the dark wizards who were out for their treasures and they had their own kind of magic under the school where one very dark goblin was on his way back to find that same dark magic so he could get rid of the wizards who betrayed and killed his family at the time.
Everyone should know the history of Ranrok wanting to learn the wizarding world but he was shunned as Goblins were considered vile creatures who stole from the wealthy and were monsters to other creatures out in the forests when they were misunderstood. Ever since then goblins have been at war as Ranrok had convinced a darker wizard to help him get his sdy

Albus had another nightmare but he didn't
wake up this time. He had asked Vincent to keep him asleep for a while longer so he could learn the plan against the wizard kind and how he could stop this mad goblin from hurting him and his friends.
Scorpius had come back from classes and raised a brow as Vincent stood over Albus keeping his wand pointed to Albus mind.
Albus jerked up in a cold sweat and panted biting his lip. Scorpius walked over and raised a brow "Were you using dark magic to stay asleep?" He asked and Albus nodded "I had to figure out who this Goblin is. I mean sure it's in the history books now days but he's out for something.. revenge so to speak." He shook his head and sketched something where he summoned a red ink and drew it out of the Goblin metal that the goblin wore on his shoulders

"This is what I saw. It looks like that goblin metal in the trophy room. The history behind it is powerful but it's long gone from the armor.." Albus spoke and a Hufflepuff student leaned against the wall
"Is it though? The armor sits there but there was a day I saw a bright red light come from it. I thought I was imagining things but I'm a prefect so I walk the halls. We thought we saw the light again so we checked it out. The armor was red and looked dangerous."
Albus raised a brow "and you didn't tell the headmaster?" He asked and the student shook her head "I couldn't, it was confusing at first but if professor Black knew then. I have a feeling it would put us at risk." She sighed and walked into the infirmary putting her hand on Albus'.
"Your adventure had only just begun but this darkness.. don't put yourself and this school at risk." Her eyes glowed red and she disappeared like a ghost
Albus shook his head "wait.. Professor Black? This isn't our headmaster.." he was confused but it was the Ancient magic telling him stuff he needed to know.
"Albus? You okay?" Vincent asked and Albus shook himself out of his thought and smiled up at him "it's nothing.. we need to look up Ranrok. This is just the beginning of another war.." he facepalmed "any tests coming up babe?" He asked Scorpius who nodded "potions is coming up and we have three we have to make for the finals of the year. We've done everything else so you should be fine.. just don't pass out this time." He chuckled and they both kissed. Albus blushed and smiled
"Have you seen or talked to my father?" He asked and Scorpius nodded "he's coming over this afternoon with Hermione and a friend from the Ministry. They have an idea of how to track our goblin friend." He hissed at the idea of ever getting near a goblin since they weren't the kindest of creatures to anyone, especially at Gringotts when he visited his first year.
Vincent sat in the chair next to Albus' bed and closed his eyes for a moment
"Did you get any sleep last night?" Albus asked and Vincent chuckled "coming back from being undead has been hard on the sleep. I've tried but my Inferi counterpart keeps kicking in where it wants to kill.. I have to control it or things can go bad. So no, I barely slept."
Albus sighed and looked over as a Slytherin student walked in and handed him the book he asked for.
Albus handed him some coins and nodded "did you find it?" He asked and the boy nodded "it's under the Gryffindor tower. We won't be able to get in without your dad."
Albus groaned and nodded "thanks for trying. I'll look into it later."
The student left and Scorpius raised a brow "what was he looking for?" He asked and Albus opened the book, showing him a page of the goblin armor "the power in the armor comes from the deepest parts of the lion skin which can heat up and metal and compact dark magic. Gryffindor is known for their own dark magic but even if my father could get into their cellar of magic, he wouldn't touch it. No one would." He sighed and shook his head biting his lip and closed the book. "Ranrok is close and we don't have time to screw around." He hissed and Scorpius nodded looking at Vincent who had his eyes closed still somewhat snoring, making them both giggle.
"We should go eat some breakfast, don't you think? We can bring him something after we're done." Albus said as his stomach growled and Scorpius helped him up, having the marble in his hand and out it into Vincent's as it was cracked and Vincent could take that magic he deserved.
