SOUSUKE
—❁—
I continue to rush home from the school grounds, not looking back; just in case Kou was following me. I could hear noises coming from the courtyard, but I wasn't about to get involved in whatever was going on. Hopefully Kou was being taught his lesson, though. I don't understand why he was being such a creep like that. In the middle of my walk home-I glance at the pastry shop that me and him went to again a few days ago, stopping at the window so I can look at the table we sat at.
I couldn't get what he did to me out of my head. Grabbing my shoulders and waist, acting like I was just going to give into his perverted mindset.
I then shake my head and keep walking, taking my phone out of my pocket. I was surprised that Kou hadn't messaged me, or even tried calling me. Not that I exactly cared.. it just surprised me.
I then go to his contact that I have saved in my phone, blocking it.
I wasn't going to put up with that behavior from him again, and I'm already not willing to hear him try and apologize for that crap he pulled on me in the school courtyard. I let out a sigh as I put my phone back in my bag, continuing my way back to my house. There's no way I could tell my mom about this, though. Part of me still feels bad when I think about making Kou out to be a bad person, even if what he did was totally out of line.
I eventually make it back home to my house, and oddly enough; my mom wasn't home. I walk into the kitchen after slipping my shoes off at the front door and I find a note on the counter:
Sousuke,
I had to go buy some groceries at the store, so that's why I am not home. I'm checking out the new supermarket that they opened just outside of town, so I may be home a bit late. I've put some ingredients on the counter for you to make some curry in case you are hungry—but you don't have to make curry if you don't want to! No opening the door for strangers!
XOXO; MOM!
I smile at the heart that I see drawn on the paper beside her name, then I look over at the ingredients she has sitting out for curry; but I wasn't all that hungry yet. Instead, I walk to my room and unload my backpack, looking at my desk and seeing that she must've taken my photos to have them processed like I asked her to.
