Nathan's Perspective

"Mate," Jay said from behind me.

I turned and looked at him. I was in my onesie and had a cup of tea in my hands. Although when do I not? I nodded at him in greeting.

"We're going to be leaving soon..." He trailed off, "I know you're gutted about not coming, but I do think it is for the best. Don't want one of our star singers to get hurt."

I didn't say anything. I didn't want to get in a fight. I watched watched as they each in turn came into the hotel room and said their goobyes. They were each in a suit in a way. Jay wore black pants, a black shirt, and a black leather jacket. Max wore dark jeans, a white shirt, and a long beige coat. Tom wears a collared shirt, black tie, and a soft grey jacket. Siva probably has the most unique, but when does he not? Siva, he wears a long black coat with a maroon fur collar. They were probably not suits, but they were The Wanted style suits.

They left after some more goodbyes. They said they would try to get me to come and they tried, but Big Kev clearly didn't want me there. I didn't exactly know why, but it wouldn't stop me.

Five minutes after they left I pulled on a collared white shirt, a black tie, and a black suit jacket. I pulled on some jeans that had a chain hung on the side. I looked down the window towards where the bus that would have taken us would be at and saw that it had left.

So I left as well.

Melody's Perspective.

One of a very few girls, Cora, who worked with The Sentras was in the room with me where I was going to get dressed. A normal girl would have been very awkward standing in her underwear, but I learned not to be self concious.

Cora strapped a microphone on my back and made sure the dress wouldn't be in the way and the voices would be loud and clear. Then I slipped on my short blue dress that was one shouldered and had a big belt to wrap around my waist.

Cora is one of very few words so she was silent as she sat me down in front of a mirror and started to put foundation on my face. She brushed blush on my cheeks and then stroked brown eye shadow on my top lids. To finish it off she put eyeliner on.

I had to admit I looked decent if not beautiful. The make up for sure made me look older, enough to pass for my twenties. I didn't normally wear make up so I had to make sure I wouldn't touch my face as much as I usually would.

Next I strapped on a two inch black heel and practiced walking in them around the room. I hoped I would pull this off but it was more difficult then I imagined.

An hour later I was there. It was 20:23. The party was very exclusive, but Jerry was able to get me in with a few calls. I wondered how Ethan go in but I wouldn't ponder over that just yet.

I walked in slowly but steady so one, I didn't fall and two I didn't look like I had a goal. It was weird walking inside alone seeing as everyone else had someone's hand to hold. But I walked up to the doors, gave my name, and I was in.

I didn't see Ethan yet so I went to the bar and asked for some red wine, thinking that something to drink would cool down my nerves if not make them disappear. Then I saw him.

Ethan was just five seats down from the bar looking rather unformal. He was a plaid brown shirt and was sipping on a brown substance. I tapped my fingers against the bar nerviously. How was I supposed to approach him?

Then I did it. I slowly got up from the bar stool with my drink and clumsily walked over to him. As I approached he glanced up at me. I tried my best to smile.

"Hi," I said nervousily which could be taken as a shy girl talking to someone she fancied. Not that I did fancy Ethan.

"Hello," Ethan's raspy voice broke out as he turned in his stool, leaning against the bar with his shoulders leaning against the bar. He looked me up and down which made chills run up and down my body.

I tucked my hair behind my ear, thinking I might as well go off as a shy girl who didn't know what to say, "Ummm, I saw you from down there and I couldn't help but realize how umm..." I trailed off not knowing if I could bring myself to say the thing that would make bile rise up in my throat.

"I'm Ethan," Ethan said, saving me. He held out his hand and I reluctantly took it in my own and shook his hand.

"Melody," I responded, then wondering if I should have given him a fake name.

"Pretty," He smirked, letting go of my hand then taking a sip of his drink. I watched him carefully wondering where he go have the key. If he even had a key. In his pocket? Probably a little to obvious.

I didn't know what to do until I did it. I let my drink slip through my fingers and watched as some of it spilled on his pants and then crash against the floow. I put my hands to my mouth and quickly said, "I am so sorry."

Ethan's brows furrowed together and he looked like he was going to hit me but calmed down. "It's fine," He said, standing up and started walking towards the men's bathroom.

"No it's not!" I said following him. "Let me help."

He didn't object so I followed him into the men's bathroom, not caring that there might be any other men in the bathroom.

Nathan's Perspective

I watched the lads from across the room of the party and made sure they didn't see me. They were constantly looking for Ethan and everytime they looked my way I dashed behind the wall, behind someone, or grabbed a girl and took her into a dance.

I was going to do this on my own.

However, the other lads and I both spotted Ethan at about the same time. He was at the bar talking to a girl in a blue dress with blonde hair. He looked at her like she was a meal and he could steal her for the night. I felt bad for her, but I wished she would leave.

It was when the girl dropped her wine on Ethan that I saw who it was. It was the girl from outside the store. Melody. I smirked at Ethan's face, but also felt a sense of protecting this girl I didn't even know. I watched them both go towards the men's bathroom.

Melody cast a glance behind her as she followed him in. She didn't looked at panicked as she did before when she spilt the drink on him.

Manuevering around people loitering around and some dancers I walked up to the lads, not caring anymore if they knew I was here.

"Nathan!" Tom gasped, being the first to spot me.

"Mate," Max whined, "What the hell are you doing here?"

"Big Kev wanted you to stay," Seev said.

Jay looked at me disapprovingly, "I told you it was probably for the best."

"I don't care at the moment." I turned to Tom. "Mate, that is Melody from in front of the store."

"We know," Tom said calmly, "This is another reason why we didn't want you to come."

"What are you talking about?" I wondered.

Jay stepped forward, "At first it was because we didn't think it would be, I guess, safe for you to come. But then we found out who Melody really was. We were going to try to convince Big Kev, but not when we found this out."

"And what is that?" I asked.

"Melody is a Sentra, mate, she was the one who took the diamonds," Max explained.

I wanted to be angry at them for not telling me, but I took another tactic. "It doesn't matter. So she is a Sentra. Let me talk to her."

"Are you sure that is a good idea?" Siva asked.

"I'll coax her into telling me where the diamonds are," I said, then watched how they all thought about it and agree. They needed me and they knew it at that moment.
