Melody's Perspective
When I had walked in the door Jerry was waiting for me. He made sure I hid the diamonds in the place that we organized. Later that night as I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom Jerry knocked on the door.
"Yes?" I asked through a mouth full of toothpaste.
"I have news," Was what he responded with as he opened the door taking my response as invitation.
I spit the toothpaste and rinsed my mouth. "What about?"
"Ethan and the rest of The Bloods are going are going to be attending the party which is in honor of the queen.
"Huh?" I asked, puzzled.
"We need the key. You are going to attend the party and you are going to get it from him. Are we clear?" Jerry asked. He was definitely on edge so I was even afraid to object.
"Are you saying to seduce him?" I wondered.
"If that's what it takes then yes," Jerry said matter a factly.
I sighed thinking this through then something occured to me. "What if he doesn't even have the key then what then? He will never fall for it again."
"Trust me," Jerry said, "After the stunt you pulled today I don't think he will let that key out of his sight. It will be on him."
It made a little sense, but it would be a risk to carry it around. Doesn't matter though. If he wants to be dumb then so be it. It also made sense why he was attending the party. There would be plenty of diamonds there.
I went into my room. The one where Jerry placed me in when my parents died. It looked rather the same, but plain. A bed for sleeping and a closet for clothes. Not much needed if you are me. Constantly doing things for your family, not even attending school. That's what homeschooling was for although I don't get taught I take the tests and I pass. School isn't important for my line of work.
I opened my closet wondering if I would be able to possibly muster up an outfit for the party. Obviously it was going to have to be nice. There was something but then I remembered what Tom said. They would have to come back to get their suits. An idea popped in my head. I could get a dress and maybe Nathan's wish would come true and I would see him again.
With my plan thought through I pulled my covers to the side and snuggled tightly into my bed with the covers reaching my chin. I fell asleep quickly with a smile on my face, but worry in my stomach.
~
I woke up early in the morning to get a head start on the day. Although the party was tomorrow there was a lot of preparations I had to go through.
It was 5 o'clock when I woke up so Jerry wasn't yet awake. I quickly made some beans and toast then sat at the table eating it quietly. It got lonely in this house, but I've lived with it for thirteen years so I got kind of used to it.
After I made my way to the place where I ran into Nathan. Call me weird but I couldn't help it. Now I saw why girls fell head over heels for them. I never understood before but now I do. And when Nathan looked down at me I could have sworn a part of him felt something. Maybe. Maybe not but it couldn't hurt to try right? Anything can happen tomorrow so I decide to risk my chances.
There was a dress shop across from where The Wanted had been at which was some fancy suit store. Which they probably went to inorder to look fancy at some award show.
I entered the dress shop that was just opening up.
"Hello!" Said a perky sailslady from behind the counter. She was to excited for the morning.
"Hi..." I said unsurely, trailing off, walking deeper into the shop. There were a lot of dresses from sexy to elegant.
"Can I help you with anything?" The sailslady asked suddenly right behind me.
"Umm," I said a little startled, "No, I'm just looking for a dress."
"Any ocassion you are looking for particularly?" She wondered, not at all taking the hint that I just wanted to look on my own.
"I really don't need any help," I said.
"Oh," The sailslady said sadly. Then her face lit up again like a little school girl, "Did you know The Wanted were just across the street yesterday?"
I smiled, "Really, that's interesting."
"I wasn't here, but one of my coworkers saw them and got pictures! Do you want to see them?" She asked, a smile reaching from ear to ear.
"No, really I just want to get a dress." I said as sternly as I could get. Finally she took the hint and walked off leaving me to find something. I tried on a few dress until I found one that fit my taste and accented my eyes. I purshased it and it turned out to be £100. It wasn't a problem because I snuck some money out of Jerry's wallet before I left.
As I was walking out the door with the bag in my hand I saw The Wanted walk into the suit store, but Nathan wasn't with them.
A scream arrupted from behind me and the saleslady ran out the door towards The Wanted leaving her door unattended. I watched as they stopped and took pictures with her. Other girls who happened to be walking the streets in this early hour ran up to them and paparazzi swarmed them. Just another day in London for them it seemed.
At my failed plan I walked back home.

The Sentras had a secret place they met as well as The Bloods. Except ours was more remote but more bearable to be in. It wasn't at all run down and there was not a speck of dust in sight.
Jerry had called me and told me to him there inorder to get some preparations in order. Everyone there told me different tactics to get Ethan alone. What to say and what body language to do. It was very awkward, especially since Jerry was doing much of the talking.
"There will be mics on you, so we can hear everything that happens," Said Michael, one of my dad's old friends. Then he handed me a cigaretter lighter.
"Ummm?" I said holding it up. I didn't smoke but maybe it was for Ethan. He smoked right?
"It's a panic button. If things are getting weird and strange, anything out of order pretend you are going out for a smoke," which he then happened me a pack of cigarettes, "And try lighting the lighter. There won't be any fire, but it will alert us that you need help. There is nothing to worry about."
"If there is nothing to worry about then why do we have to take so many precautions?" I asked, my heart suddenly beating on overdrive.
"It's better to be safe than sorry," Michael explained, patting my should like he use to do when I was much smaller.
"What if I fail?" I asked.
"You won't. If we thought you would fail then we wouldn't have chosen you."
"No," I disagreed, "You chose me because I'm the only girl who can actually handle this."
I left the room then, out of breath. This was all happening so fast. I didn't know what to expect tomorrow. What was I to do if Ethan caught on to me? I guess I would find out tomorrow.
A/N The next chapter will actually have a mix of Nathan's and Melody's point of views.
