Melody's Perspective

Nathan James Sykes left me and he will never hear any of my explanations. That much I am sure of.

What I'm not sure of is the real reason he let me go. I should be punished. I lied to them all. Nathan, Siva, Tom, Jay, Max, Big Kev, and even the girlfriends. They all should want me to be punished.

So why am I still here going unpunished.

But I guess this is worse. The abandonment.

Now I am stuck here soaking wet without anywhere to go. I can't go back to Jerry because he is on the attack mode. He will kill me just like he did Cora. I can't imagine what she looks like right now all mangled up on the side of the road with blood pooling around her. The thought made me shudder.

I left Cora there.

At least I did one thing good in my life even if it meant leaving the one guy I could of possible loved. I gave him the diamonds without putting up a fight even though I should have never taken them in the first place.

It's Nathan's fault. He is the one who made me feel this way.

It was all fake. Why can't I get that out of my head? For a while I thought it was real. When he kissed me, but he felt nothing.

So here I am walking down the street of London still damp in my wet clothes with blood running down my arm. People gave me strange looks as I walked passed them and some whispered, probably wondering what happened to me. Most thinking I was a troubled teen and needing to stay away from me.

If only they knew.

I still had Nathan's hat. That was all I would ever have of him. I placed it back on my head and pushed my hair under in order to disguise myself. I was still afraid that Jerry was going to com for me, but of course he will. He thinks I still have the diamonds. He's an idiot.

"Melody!" I heard my name being called from behind me. Nathan? No it can't be...

Then I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder and I flinched against it. I turned around and looked up at that face in which the hand belonged to. I sighed in relief and gave him a hug as tears escaped from my eyes.

Nathan's Perspective

"I got the diamonds," I said to Big Kev as I dropped the bag on the table. They weren't at the warehouse anymore but transported themselves back to our flat which Siva had texted to me.

When I arrived I saw Siva looked over my shoulder expecting to find Melody, but I just shook my head in response.

"Where's the girl?" Big Kev asked as he handed the diamonds to some burly guys that must work for the queen because they exited from our flat after they were given to them,

I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know. I found the diamonds on the side of street. She probably figured it was a trap all along."

Big Kev slammed his hands down on the table. "You don't expect me to believe that."

"Mate, just tell us the truth," Max demanded softly.

I rose my eyebrows up at him and looked at all of them in turn. Siva and Jay both stared back at me with knowing eyes. I sighed and said, "I'm going to make a cuppa." And walked into the kitchen. They wouldn't understand even if I told them.

"Nathan," Big Kev growled, "You don't know how long we've been trying to catch both The Sentras and The Bloods. They are both convicts and highly wanted by this country. You did fine with The Bloods, but how do you expect me to believe you would let that girl go away without even a second thought? She was our key to getting The Sentras and you know it."
