Nathan's Perspective

I waited for her to come out. I watched the door. Twenty minutes passed and the lads and I just stood there listening to the music that played above us.

When the door to the men's door finally opened it was Ethan who walked out looking as mad as ever. Melody didn't come out. I was about to go walk in there when she stepped out looking shaken up and scared. Then again she was a Sentra. They acted like something they weren't.

There was no way of knowing what happened inside of there and I couldn't simply just ask and confront her. I had to play it cool and act like I knew nothing about what happened. I was only afraid of Ethan seeing us. Word is he knows who we are.

Melody went over to get another glass of wine and it looked like she was about ready to leave the party, which meant whatever she came her to do had been accomplished. I quickly side tracked her before she made it into the door. The lads followed silently behind me but not to close.

"Melody," I exclaimed, stopping her. Her wine swayed, almost causing it to tip like what happened with Ethan.

I had obviously startled her and she looked around self conciously. "Nathan," she said breathlessly, "What are you doing here?"

"I could be asking you the same question," I laughed, "Last time I checked I was a singer and got invited to these types of things."

"Right. Sorry," Melody smiled.

I didn't know how I was going to coax anything out of her since I barely knew her. "You know." I began, "I've been thinking a lot about you since the day you bumped into me."

She raised her eyes brow and smiled a little bit, "Really?"

"Yes," I said, liking the way she shifted her body and became a little more confident. This might work, I thought to myself. "And I was wondering."

"What?" She asked as she took a sip of her wine. I watched as she licked her lips afterwards and I fought the urge to do the things I really wanted to do to her at that very second.

"What were you doing in the men's bathroom?" I asked. Her eyes flashed for a second and then went flirty.

"Do you want to learn what I was doing in the men's bathroom?" Melody smiled. She stepped closer to me. Clearly she had more than a couple of drinks.

"Hmmmm," I said, "Show me."

She laughed. "Do you want to know a secret?"

"What," I asked, thinking I got her.

"That man over there," She said pointing to Ethan who was watching her carefully. I quickly turned my head away from him. "He's evil."

"You don't say."

Melody stepped closer to me and reached to speak in my ear. I bent down in order to hear her. Her voice whispered to me, "He had a key and I wanted it."

"A key? For what?"

She placed her hand on her belt protectivly then whispered, "Diamonds."

I laughed. I acted like I had no idea what she was talking about. I made it seem like it was all a joke. "I've never seen diamonds in my life. Have you?"

Her forehead scrunched together, "Yes. Well no, but I will once I get them."

"I don't believe you."

"It's true!" She said defensively. "They are in a river of pure emotion. Down the side of a wall."

"Is that what you were doing when you ran into me?" I wondered.

"Maybe," Melody smiled and then bit her lip. She stepped closer to me, but I stopped her with my hands on her shoulders.

"Why don't you get something else to drink?" I suggested. She had finished her glass and I was eager to tell the lads who were ten paces away from us talking amongst themselves.

She nodded and walked away. When I saw her make her way to the counter I walked steadily to my band mates. "I got her to spill," I started.

"Well done, Nath," Max congratulated me while the rest of them urged me to continue.

"She has the key in her belt. The diamonds are in the water over by where I bumped into her the other day. It must be tied up somewhere because she said it was against the wall." I explained.

"You didn't get the key?" Tom asked. He looked about ready to throw a Tom tantrum. Don't know what those are? Stay tuned.

"What did you expect me to do? Feel her up?" I asked horrified.

"No, but how else are you supposed to get it?" Tom asked.

"I'll talk her into getting it. Why else do you think I told her to get more wine?" The were doubting me again.

"Then where has she gone?" Jay said. I looked in the direction of where I sent I her and saw that she wasn't there. I looked towards where Ethan was last sitting and he wasn't there as well. Thinking quick I ran out of the building, the lads following me closely on my tail. In the distance down the street we could see men walking quickly with a girl struggling in one of their grips.

We ran after them. They didn't let us get far as six of Ethan's men came at us. The only thing that was good about this was they were stripped of their weapons because of the security so it was only their fists. The bad thing was they were two times our size.

One of them tried punching at my stomach, but I quickly blocked him with my hands. He was very strong and I was affraid he would snap my wrists. After five minutes of dodging each others blows and getting hit in the eye, he pushed me against the wall hard.

There was nothing after that. My eyes dazed off and I grew tired.

A/N yooo. haha. Don't know if this chapter turned out ok. 1) Writer's Block 2) Not in the mood to write fight scenes. 3) I just want to write the next chapters.
