so sorry for not posting this tuesday, i have a night job. not proof read, correct please.

tsuyoi went on an early morning jog, way before school started. he couldn't sleep and he didn't feel like waking marcos up or his sister.

he snuck into marcos' window, sighing when it was unlocked. he had scolded them countless of times to lock their window, but they never did. he dropped naību off, just in case his father were to wake up and find him gone, at least naību would be safe.

his music was blasting in his ear, 'goodbye yellow brick road' by elton john was playing. he found it best fitting for the way he's been feeling, how long he's been feeling it.

there was this hole in his heart, an empty feeling. he always felt like he was going through the motions, his heart wasn't there, it was just beating to make sure he wasn't dead. but most days he felt dead.

and then, he finally spoke to oikawa. that void was filled. he could finally feel his heart and for once he enjoyed it, but it was only briefly, before reality hit.

tsuyoi stopped running, he went his normal route and came across heartbreak hill. he was pretty far from seijoh and his house, he checked the time on his phone.

6:00 am.

he sighed, if he ran back he would have time to get naību, shower, and get them both dressed for school. tsuyoi dreaded school in this moment, he really didn't feel like learning useless shit his father taught him years prior.

tsuyoi was just being taught what he already knew. he remembered spending hours upon hours with his father, being forced to learn college material at the age of eight. months after his mother died.

he shivered at the memories, his mind and body spiked in fear at what else trialed behind each learning experience.

"you're a long ways away."

tsuyoi looked up to see two people from karasuno. he narrowed his eyes, one with ash blond -close to grey- colored hair and a man with dark brown hair and the best damn thighs tsuyoi has every seen.

"uh, i'm sorry, but i can't seem to remember your names?" tsuyoi squatted a bit and stretched his legs.

"i'm sugawara koushi, this is sawamura daichi."

tsuyoi could see their hands latched. he kept his eyes on their hands, the two saw what he was looking at, they began to grow defensive, ready to put him in his place if he so much as said anything wrong. even if they were to lose.

tsuyoi looked back up at the two, they were shocked to see something longing in his eyes. he blinked and the look washed away, it was his normal icy blank look.

"you two are up early."

"we wanted to go on a peaceful walk. and we watched the sunrise." sugawara said.

"and we can say the same about you." daichi said.

"well, i certainly didn't have anyone to watch the sunrise with." he gave a forced chuckle, his mind wandering to oikawa. he shook his head from those thoughts, he didn't want that longing look to reappear again, they would get suspicious. but those two already were. "i was just on a run. couldn't sleep."

"we have an early practice, we know you don't play volleyball, but would you like to join for a few minutes?" daichi asked.

he checked the time, it was only 6:15, as long as he left by 7:00 he should be fine. he didn't have a morning practice, coach sinka had emailed the team he was sick, so he didn't even have practice after school.
