//This one will probably be a short one.//

Gus:

The only good thing Gus has going on in his life right now, is his friends, especially Night. He was so happy that there would be someone in his house who he could actually talk to, hang out with, and not feel so alone all the time.

His parents were always abroad, doing business things that he had no clue about. He didn't want to blame them, as their hard work led to them having a lot of money and nice things, but he would rather, they spent more time with him and his brother, especially when they were younger. Gus never told his parent's this, but he slightly resented them for never seeing that they were neglecting their kids. He also internally blames them for the way his older brother turned out.

Even though Gear lives with him, he is barely home. He is either at university, or out with friends, or his friends are at their place. Either way, they are always spending money on food, drinks, and clothes, and god knows what else.

Gear is starting his third year of university soon, but as it is holidays, he is pretty much always drunk or hungover.

Gus hated Gear for never wanting to be around him or their home, and for never once thinking, maybe I should be an example for my brother, help him through his university admissions or exams, or just be there for him when he needs advice.

Gus laughed at the thought of any advice that could come from his alcoholic brother.

After Gus had found out about Night staying with him, he kept on waiting for his brother to come home so he could let him know not to bug him and his friend.

After waiting for over a day, his brother finally shows up Saturday night with his entire friend group and probably lots of other people Gus wouldn't know. Around 10 cars pull up to their house, a lot of them sports cars, or luxury SUV's that their parents probably bought for them, with 30 or so tipsy people getting out of the cars and heading towards the backyard.

Gus predicted they were going to have a late night barbeque while drinking and swimming (as their backyard has lots of seating space, open grass area, a large barbeque, with a small bar, and a massive pool).

He spots his brother and his close friends, Brick and Four, and runs up to stop them.

"P'Gear! P'Gear, wait!" Gus shouts over the music being played on a speaker somewhere, as the massive group of young people were cutting across the front yard to get to the back door; they all knew where it was as they had probably been here before.

Finally hearing his brother's shouts, Gear stops to turn around and glare at his little brother who had disrupted his fun. His friends waited with him.

"What's wrong? Why are you bugging me? Can't you see I'm busy?" Gear asks, annoyed.

"Be nice, or you'll hurt the wittle baby's feelings." Four mocks. The three of them laugh slightly, while Gus frowns and glares, disgusted by their immaturity.

"P, my friend is coming over to stay at our place for 3 weeks. Don't bother us and we won't bother you, okay?" Gus tells his brother.

"Do whatever you want. Let me know if you two children ever want to join us and have some fun." Gear replies, uncaringly.

Gus says "I think we'll be alright, I don't want to lose brain cells by hanging around you and your friends." And then he turns around and starts to leave.

Gus is grabbed by the arm and spun around by a strong hand. That hand belongs to Four, who was now staring into Gus's big round eyes, while leaning down and saying in a low voice, "What did you just say?"

Gus hates these guys so much that he tends to forget how scary they can be when they are angry. But looking into Four's face, despite feeling scared he feels even angrier.

Seeing that Gus was about to make the dumb decision of saying something back to Four that wasn't an apology, Gear pulls Four away from Gus, and tells him to leave it and that Gus is just a little kid who's going through puberty and thinks he's tough.

Gus walks back to the house, exhausted from even having to look at his brother's face, and heads to his room, knowing the house will be flooded with people eventually. He locks the door, then sighs, and after a few seconds, he goes on his phone before deciding to try to sleep.

//If anyone ever reads this, please stay tuned. I have a feeling it will be a slow burn, but I think it will be worth it. Also, I'm kind of making this stuff up as I go, but I have a general idea of what I'm doing...kind of...maybe...not really.//
