"Why would I want you to treat me like your boyfriend." Brick mumbles sarcastically, looking down at his feet and completely unaware that Day heard what he had said. After saying that, he places his bag beside the couch and turns to walk towards the kitchen/dining area.

But he is frozen on the spot by Day who is staring at him, with a look Brick can't quite identify.

Day chuckles to himself after hearing Brick's sassiness and thinks to himself, fuck it, fuck the plan, I'm just gonna flirt with him now that he's already agreed to be around me.

And so, with a smug look on his face and confidence oozing off of him, Day leaves whatever he was doing in the kitchen, and walks up to Brick.

When he reaches him, Brick looks up, with a confused, and still red, face.

Day doesn't touch him, but they are now so close that if he wanted, Day could lean down and kiss him.

At the thought of this, Brick furiously blinks away his thoughts and continues to questioningly look at Day.

"Well, I treated you like that because from the way you look at me, its obvious you want to get into my pants." Day finally says, his smirk growing.

"What? I do not!" Brick shouts, offended by Day's arrogance and wording choice.

"Really? Come on now, be honest with yourself. It's okay if you want to, because right now, all I want to do, is lean down and kiss you." Day confesses bluntly, tossing aside any shred of professionalism...well because Brick has already verbally agreed to be his P.A. for six months, and that's plenty of time to get Brick to fall for him.

"Huh? You - you what now?" Brick asks, confused by this revelation.

He is a very easily confused person.

"Really? Why?" Brick asks, after Day's words finally register a bit better and he has gotten over the immediate embarrassment.

"I don't know. I think your easy on the eyes, and pretty cute too."

"I guess I'm just attracted to you, simple." Day answers honestly.

"This doesn't mean I forgive you for what you did to my brother, and no reason will ever be good enough, but I'm willing to look past it - at least just enough to sleep with you - as nothing truly happened." Day reminds Brick of both the agreement they had come to and Day's true intentions.

I want to kiss him too.

Brick thinks about how it would feel to kiss Day, to not have to take the lead for once.

To just let everything go and be vulnerable.

Fuck it! You only live once.

Brick decides before grabbing Day's face in his hands and kissing him on the lips.

He holds the position for a few seconds and then lets go and quickly moves back as the realization of what he had just done hits him.

But before he can go far, Day wraps his arms around Brick's waist and pulls him in again, but makes sure to avoid their bodies touching.

There is now a wide, genuine smile on his face and Brick notices his eyes are brighter and bigger than before.

"Well that was unexpected." Day says with a light chuckle.

"But very welcome." He finishes, the words bringing a blush to Brick's cheeks.

He looks down, unable to look the man right in the eyes.

Unfortunately for him, Day prefers to look into the eyes of someone he is interested in.

So he gently whispers to Brick, bringing his face closer, but without letting them touch, "Please look at me. I like looking into your eyes."

Brick gulps but forces himself to slowly tilt his face up.

"What now? What does this mean?" Brick asks, as he hadn't considered the effects of his action.

"We can do whatever we want. It doesn't have to mean anything, right? We can just explore and see how it goes. Sail with the wind." Day begins in a soft tone but then says the last part in a dramatic and sarcastically poetic way, causing Brick to laugh slightly.

"Okay." Brick says, after Day's words reassured him and also allowed him to relax into Day's arms better.

He slowly snakes his hands up Day's chest, relishing in the feeling of his toned muscles under his comparatively small hands.

Brick and Day both watch Brick's hands, smiling softly.

Day brings one of his hands to Brick's cheek, gently caressing his face and tucking some hair behind his ear. This causes Brick to look up at him, and as the feeling grows on him, he closes his eyes.

When Day sees that Brick isn't as nervous anymore, he suddenly pulls him tightly towards himself, Brick's chest now touching his own.

Brick still has his eyes shut, but his breath hitches, some of the nerves back.

Day asks Brick so softly that he would have missed it, if it hadn't have been so quiet around them, "Do you want to do, what I want to do?"

Knowing exactly what he is talking about, Brick is shocked that a guy like Day is asking him.

But feeling that the moment called for a verbal response, he lets out a yes, that sounds more like a gasping sound.

His words hang in the air for a few seconds as Day continues to hold Brick flush against his body and breathe in his scent, meanwhile Brick's breathing is quick and he shakes slightly, not from fear but from nervousness and anticipation even.

Day decides that the timing is right.

And then, ever so slowly, he brings his face down to Brick's and places a gentle kiss on his lips.

I feel like it fits exactly with what happens in this chapter but I'm not sure if it works well with reading. Please let me know if you liked having the song playing along while you read or not because I'm considering doing it for future chapters but I also don't want to ruin the story if people don't enjoy it. //
