"What the fuck are you doing?!" Brick screams, as tears fall from him eyes. He is on the ground looking up at Day, who is towering over him with a smirk on his lips but eyes filled with anger.

"Oh, nothing. Just letting you know what it feels like to be in a situation where you feel helpless and scared. But I remember you saying you weren't afraid of me, right?" Day says with a little laugh.

"Why? I haven't done anything to you." Brick says, too scared to try and get up and slightly tipsy as well, but also too confused to not ask.

"When you made a bet on manipulating my brother, you hurt me more than you could ever understand." Day says, his smirk disappearing with the mention of the bet and the reminder of his brother's crying face.

Brick's eyes widen in shock, as he realises that Day must somehow know of their bet and who brought it up first.

"But...It never actually happened and your brother is okay and happily dating my friend because of the bet I started." Brick says, trying to reason his way out of it.

"Oh, so are you saying, I should be thanking you right now?" Day asks, his anger rising at Brick's audacity.

"No...No, I'm not. I'm just saying, the situation turned out okay, no? Can't you pretend it never happened? And why are you taking this out on only me, Gear agreed to do it at first?" Brick starts making excuses, anything to prolong whatever pain Day had planned.

"Because you suggested the bet...without it, who knows, maybe Gear and Night would've gotten together in a more natural way. But because of you, my brother was so scared he could barely breathe, because of you, my brother was hurt! And now, I'm going to hurt you!" Day screamed, as the more he talked, the more his anger rose.

He couldn't restrain himself anymore than this.

He began punching Brick in the face, over and over, as Brick begged him to stop. After a few punches, he got up and grabbed his can of beer and poured it slowly over Brick's face and body, while laughing slightly at the sight in front of him. He also began kicking Brick's body as he poured.

"I'm sorry...Please forgive me. I'm sorry. I - I don't know what else I can say or do to make up for it." Brick pleads, now sobbing as Day is pouring the beer.

"Nothing you say will make up for what you have done." Day says before crouching down and punching Brick one last time before he passes out.

He gets up and looks down at the limp body on the floor of his apartment.

"Ahhhh!" Day screams as he kicks the empty beer can in frustration. His head was hurting from the conflicting thoughts in his brain.

He hated Brick for making the bet, but he couldn't help but be attracted to his slim, lean, tall figure, and cute face. His hair too, it had looked so soft and fluffy.

His face was a mess of blood, and bruises that were beginning to appear, and his body too.

After staring at Brick's body for a couple seconds, Day took a few deep breaths in and out.

Once he had calmed down, he admitted to himself...I'm attracted to this beautiful man who has caused the person I love the most, pain.

Pushing his hair back in anger, exhaustion and confusion, Day picks up Brick and takes him to the bathroom inside his bedroom. He lays him down in the bathtub, starts the water, and removes his clothes.

He tries his best not to think too much on seeing the guy naked, but...

Pushing away his desires, Day lets him soak and cleans up the mess in the living room. He then dries Brick off, dresses him and lays him on the bed.

As Day was doing all of this, he couldn't help but pick up on how soft Brick's skin felt under his coarse hands, or how his hair was as soft as he had imagined, or how gentle his face looked when he slept, despite the bruising.

Completely wiped out from all the stress of the past few days, Day gets into bed, next to Brick and slowly falls asleep while staring at the man in front of him.

...But not before handcuffing one of Brick's hands to his headboard and ensuring there was nothing near him that could be used as a weapon.
