"Smash!"

The sound of glass crashing echoes throughout the house, followed by screams.

Day had pushed through Gear's door and the later had gotten up, confused as to what was happening and who Day was, as he didn't even know Day was at his house.

Day shoved Gear back so hard that he hit the wall, knocking a frame that had a photo of him and his brother in it to the ground, completely shattering it.

"I'm going to make you beg to die!" Day screamed, completely forgetting his promise to his brother after seeing the face of the man who hurt him.

"Who the hell are you?!" Gear screamed back, confused, but unafraid...Gear was pretty confident when it came to his fighting skills and was probably the strongest out of all three of them.

"P'Day, please stop. You promised you wouldn't hurt him!" Night begged his brother, pulling him back with all his strength.

"Who is this, Night?" Gear asked, his tone shifting to a much gentler and softer one. He was at least trying to make a conscious effort at being better.

"I'm his fucking brother who is going to skin you alive!" Day shouts, unable to think through his blinding anger.

Brick quickly runs to help Night keep Day away from Gear, as Day breaks free from Night for a split second. He grabs Day's other arm that Night wasn't holding, from behind, pulling him backwards.

Irritated, Day flips around and shoves Brick away from himself and Night, causing him to fall to the ground.

As he sees the fear for himself and concern for his friend in Brick's eyes, his motion and breath hitches for a split second, giving Night enough time to let go of Day's arm and run to stand in front of Gear.

"Everyone stop!" Night shouts.

"I just want to talk to P'Gear. Please, can we have a conversation like mature adults?" Night pleads.

Night's sudden out burst has everyone silent, and soon calming down. Day is still looking at Brick as he takes deep breaths, while Brick also looks up at Day and slowly stands up, and angry look on his face.

Just then, Four and Gus also run into the room and are confused as to what is happening, as it is suddenly quiet again.

"Can everyone leave, I want to talk to Night, alone." Gear asks, as he doesn't want to put their situation on full display. And he wanted privacy to fully express his emotions.

"No way in hell I'm leaving you alone with my brother." Day immediately disagrees.

"I won't do anything, I swear. I won't even move from where I'm sitting. If you want, I won't even look at him." Gear says, trying to convince Day to give them some space.

"Please, P'Day? Na?" Night asks gently.

"Fine, everyone out...but leave the door unlocked, got it?" Days says, before making sure everyone else leaves, and then leaving and closing the door behind himself.

Outside the door:

"They will probably take some time and I'm too awake to sleep now, so lets get breakfast Gus." Four says, grabbing Gus gently by the arm and pulling him to the kitchen.

"Who says I want to eat breakfast with you." Gus mumbles under his breath, but if he was being honest, he would acknowledge the blush on his face.

"So..." Brick says, about to invite Day to breakfast too, as he is unsure what to do or say and hates awkward silence.

"No thanks, I'm not leaving the door." Day says, reading Brick's mind.

"I can't leave you alone here, what if you do something to my friend?" Brick says, feeling pressured to stay but also uncomfortable waiting outside like this.

"At least you're acknowledging that I could easily take down your friend...but I don't think you being here could stop me from that." Day says, smirking a little, as his mood lightens slightly from teasing Brick.

Brick is someone who has never been teased before, he is usually the one doing the teasing, so he finds this offensive.

"I'll show you right now, just how I would stop you." Brick says, walking up closer to Day and slightly shoving him back a step or two.

"Hah, I'd stop right there if I were you," Day threatens light heartedly, finding Brick's aggression to be amusing as he feels it doesn't suit his cute face.

Wait, did I just - cute face? What the fuck is wrong with me? Day thinks, shaking his head to erase the thought that just popped into his mind. He was ashamed to be even slightly attracted to anyone related to the man who hurt his brother.

The smile now gone from his face, Day walks back up to Brick, and Brick instinctively takes a few steps backwards. Brick's back hits the wall and Day suddenly blocks Brick in by placing his hands on the wall of the hallway, on either side of Brick, while still moving closer.

When their faces are only slightly apart, Day leans down and says while looking into Brick's eyes, "If you weren't his friend, I'd probably have you in bed right now...but since you are, I'd advice you to refrain from threatening me. It's not cute when I'm angry." Day whispers, his tone flat and irritated but there is a glint in his eyes.

Brick's eyes widen as the realization of what Day has just said hits him and he pushes Day away from him. His chest rises and falls, his nerves taking over his body, and he brashly says, "As if I would ever sleep with you."

"I wouldn't be too sure about it." Day says with a smirk, looking Brick up and down and taking in the nice view, and then he turns around and leans on the wall, shutting his eyes and taking away any chance for Brick to say something.

Frustrated by not having the last laugh, Brick exhales sharply and leaves the hallway to drink some water in order to reduce the heat he felt in his face.

I'm angry and offended by his arrogance, that's all. Brick reassures himself mentally, all-the-while his heart feels like its going to explode from how fast it's beating.
