Third Party P.O.V

They had all decided to take their own cars at first because no one was willing to give up time with their partners. However, Day - being the oldest and clearly most responsible one there - disagreed and said that everyone should go in groups of four per car.

"If you all wanted a honeymoon, you shouldn't have agreed to a group trip." Day said, frustrated with the childish behavior of everyone around him. Eventually they all agreed, because Gear agreed, because Gear can't have Day think badly of him.

So, off they went.

Gear, Night, Brick, and Day went in one car, while Gus and Four went with some of their other friends.

The drive had been decently short and actually enjoyable despite the silence that sometimes occurred after they had finished laughing or chatting about something. It was mostly cars and racing.

When Day heard Brick telling Gear he was due to race again soon because it had been a while and he would lose his position on the leaderboard - yes, they had a leaderboard to improve competitiveness; Day's idea - he had begun brooding.

No one picked up on this, however, but he had mentally planned to talk to Brick about it a bit more after the trip - no one liked some couple fighting to ruin the trip for everyone.

When they arrived, a few people went in to check everyone in - they had booked a beach house so they could all spend even more time together - and could also get drunk in the comfort of a home as opposed to a bar and then somehow get to their rooms.

Night had been super anxious about this - and he knew he would end up sleeping in the same room as Gear, because his brother clearly wanted to sleep with Brick. Despite being a bit saddened by this, as he was used to getting all his brother's attention, his main concern was related to the fact that despite what he had said about wanting Gear to touch him more freely - he still wasn't ready for something more.

Whenever the conversation had drifted off in the car, Night's mind would eventually go to this issue and he was running through ways to talk about this in his head.

He had nothing.

Apart from the truth that is, but he felt it would be too embarrassing to admit.

His anxiety only built up more inside of him as some of them began walking or driving the cars over to their accommodation because it was fairly close by.

He opted on walking.

And boy was he glad he chose that option because the wind was helping reduce the urge to spill his guts all over the trees and plants to his right - on his left was a beautiful view of the beach.

He decided to focus on that instead of his emotions - something he had learned to do from his brother... back when he...

Shaking the thoughts away, he focused his eyes on the greenish blue waves that softly crashed against the shore. The sun, shining brightly in the sky, still far from being directly above them, was lighting the world up in color. It's light reflected off the water, making it glisten, and the sand - brightening the already light yellow shade to one of almost pure white.

He took a deep breath, letting the salty air enter his system, leaving him feeling fresh and light.

He had never seen a sight as pure as the one in front of him.

Never taken in the beauty of the world around them before; always too busy with other people or tasks to complete.

Night had been so entranced that he hadn't notice Brick who had walked up to him, catching up from behind due to his longer legs, and with an equally distressed mind.

When Brick reach Night who was walking so slow, Brick thought he had stopped, he gently put his arm on the younger man's shoulder.

As soon as his hand touched him though, Night jumped, his hand shooting up to almost punch the daylights out of Brick.

"Ah! Sorry! ..I didn't mean to startle you...I just wanted to ask if you wanted to walk together?" Brick asked quietly, feeling embarrassed for being shocked and honestly a little afraid from the much smaller man in front of him. He had a feeling though, that Night could throw a decent punch or two, considering who his brother was.

At the sight of the tall, lean man in front of him looking down at his feet as he quietly explained himself, fidgeting with his shirt, Night felt himself relax and he almost began laughing - which he forced himself to contain into a fond smile - as Brick looked so cute that he now understood why his brother was with him, despite Brick not begin his usual type.

"Oh, yeah...sure. I'd love to." Night says, looking up at Brick with gentle eyes.

Brick's eyes widened for a second, surprised by the lack of hesitation, before he smiled brightly.

They started walking again and when Brick realized the others were too far to hear them talking, he decided now would be the perfect time to ask Night some questions that he hadn't been able to ask Day.

"Hey...umm...let's make a deal."
