The song relates to how both Brick and Day feel.

Third Person P.O.V.

Brick gulped as he nuzzled himself closer into Day's side.

"I'm just going to say everything I want to say...and please, please don't ask me any questions." Brick started, his voice quivering as he struggled not to break.

"Maybe, just maybe, in the future I will answer them, but this should be enough for now." Day just nodded to show Brick he understood and wouldn't push.

"Uh...so, I'm going to go right from the start as well."

"When I was younger, I was smaller than most kids my age and my family had just started up their business and because it was new, my family wasn't in the best financial state. Obviously I had no idea, being around 5 or 6, I think but people could apparently tell. Kids would make fun of me for being small, or having a hole in my shirt, or the fact that I didn't have any cool toys."

"I told my parents and they tried their best to help me, but what were they meant to do? Yell at a bunch of random kids? ...Anyway, one of their marketing campaigns must have gone well because business was booming and before I knew it, by the time I was 11, we were quite well off."

"I was still small and scrawny but people wanted to be my friends and obviously, again I had no clue it was just because I could pay for lunch, or they could come over to our house and use my stuff. This went on for years and around when I was about 15, I confronted my "friends" and they ended up telling me that 'just because I looked like a girl, didn't mean I had to be emotional like one.' Then, they never talked to me again."

Brick looked up from Day's shoulder where he had rested his head to meet Day's stormy eyes.

He had no idea how badly Day wanted to find these kids and beat em up so bad they wouldn't be able to utter another word again.

Instead of letting his anger take control, however, Day had realized that he was still that angry, hate filled kid that was taken in and trained to fight, trained to only feel anger, and knew he needed to change. So instead he cupped Brick's face with his right hand as his left pulled Brick towards him. He rested his forehead gently on Brick's and sighed.

Brick took this as an indication to continue, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"We were at school when I had confronted them because they all made plans to come to my house without even looking at me, or acknowledging me. I was pissed and it didn't help that right after, my parents called. They told me that they were busy with some work a bit out of town and wouldn't be able to pick me up and that I should take a taxi."

"When it arrived, I got into the back and as soon as the car started moving, I couldn't hold it in anymore. I began crying softly, sniffling a few times and wiping away tears. I remember pressing my nails into my palms to stop crying but it wasn't working. I was only getting more and more aggravated...and also a little dizzy from being so overwhelmed."

"What I didn't notice was that the taxi driver had a creepy smile on his face as he watched me cry. He asked me in a gentle tone, which only creeped me out as I looked up and saw his smiling face, if I wanted a tissue. He passed me a box to the back seat while at a traffic light and I took it, mumbling a quick thanks."

"I was too wrapped up in my emotions to notice we weren't going anywhere near my house."

Day's breathing hitched and his eyes shot open. Brick could spot the water building up beneath the turmoil. He knew his own eyes looked the same.

"When - when he finally stopped the car, I still hadn't snapped out of my trance and didn't even hear him open his door and get out the side to mine. When he opened the car door, my eyes widened and I looked up at him as he smirked down at me. I still remember the goosebumps I felt as he looked at me."

"The feeling of him pushing me down and pressing himself against me, the feeling of his stubble scratching the side of my face, his breath on my neck, and his hands feeling all over my skin, all still haunt me sometimes...when I'm feeling scared or...trapped."

The realization dawned on Day and the gravity of what he'd done, multiple times, had again crashed down upon him. He had triggered Brick's trauma. But before he had the chance to say or do anything, Brick continued speaking.

"You didn't know...it's okay."

Brick closed his eyes and took in a deep breath but failed to reign in the tears that silently fell down his cheeks. Day wiped them with his thumb softly as his own tears began to flow down his face.

Brick looked up at Day and smiled softly at the man in front of him. They had shifted now so that they were kneeling and facing each other.

Feeling confident enough to continue, Brick spoke again.

"I remember someone opening the door, pulling him off me, and the sounds of sirens. I know he never got to completely do what he wanted and he was arrested but...anyway."

"After this, I started going to the gym, forced myself to suppress my emotions and isolated myself from most people. I had promised myself I'd never be weak again, just like you had changed after your parents' death. I then went to uni and met Gear and Four during orientation week. I was afraid to be their friend at first but they seemed to realize I had trust issues and gave me advice that forever changed how I viewed people. I do appreciate it though, because it helped me become stronger and I ended up being able to trust them, with most things, afterwards."

"They basically told me that I should use other people before they got the chance to use me, simple. And so, I did exactly that. And...you probably know the rest."

After a few moments of silence, "I - " Day began but was cut off by Brick.

"Don't say anything...you don't need to." Brick said.

Day's tears continued to flow while Brick's had stopped after being done speaking. Brick leant up to kiss Day's eyes as they were closed, then moved down, following the trail the tears left behind. He worked his way down to the corners of Day's lips before pulling away slightly to peer up at the vulnerable, sensitive, true Day in front of him.

Day opened his eyes, hoping they would carry his apology, his regret, and his love.

And they did.

Brick slowly moved closer again and hovered right in front of Day's lips and after a short pause, he pressed his mouth gently against Day's.

The kiss slowly began getting more heated as Day's sadness turned to passion.

His hands held Brick's face close and he deepened the kiss, his tongue entering Brick's mouth.

He began to sit up, one hand dropping to wrap around Brick's waist as he pulled the leaner man flush against himself while the kept kissing.

When Day finally pulled apart, they were both panting softly and large smiles began to form on their faces.

Brick wrapped his arms around Day's neck as he pulled his boyfriend against himself, craving his touch.

They kissed passionately as Day began to gently drop Brick down, all the while keeping their lips close together, and softly laying him down on the bed.

Day pulled away suddenly, gulped and looked into Brick's eyes, asking if it was okay to do this after what Brick had just told him.

Brick just nodded and tightened his hold around the Day's neck refusing to let him second guess and starting the kiss again.

Their needs grew as they continued to make out and Brick grinded against Day's body as Day did the same, their hands exploring each other's bodies.

They pulled off each other's shirts before going right back to it.

Soft moaning echoed in the room as they continued to further please each other, taking their time.

After around 30 minutes and they had come down from their high, Day just wrapped his arms around Brick, the latter doing the same, as they pressed their naked bodies together.

Soon, they both fell asleep again, forgetting about the rest of the world, finally feeling somewhat peaceful inside.
