Brick groans softly as he wakes up, as pain shoots all over his body. Gently fluttering his eyes open, he sees a muscley torso with abs leaning against the headboard. Confused as he doesn't yet remember what had happened the night before thanks to all the alcohol in his system, he tilts his head up to see who is sitting next to him. As his eyes reach the strangers face, he sees, Day, who is looking at him with a soft smile on his face.
"Good morning, princess. Sleep well?" Day asks, chuckling slightly. In his head, he is thinking about how cute Brick looks right now.
After a good night's rest, much of his anger has dissipated but he still wishes to punish Brick and he does not want to wait for karma...He just isn't sure how yet, so he might as well take this situation to his advantage.
Brick's eyes quickly widen as his brain recognises Day, then thinks about why Day is with him, and is slowly running through the events of last night in his head.
Along with his memories, his fear also returns and Brick jolts backwards, trying to roll away from Day and off the bed.
"Ai'Day!" Brick shouts in both fear and anger.
But his body doesn't move very far. Instead, he feels excruciating pain in one of his wrists, so he looks up at his hand, which he finally realizes, he can't move, as it is handcuffed to the headboard of the bed.
"What - why...?" At a loss for words, Brick can only stare at Day with big eyes, his body shaking slightly.
Just because he thought Day was ridiculously hot and was kind of into this kind of thing, does not mean that he was okay with the situation he was in right now.
He wanted out!
Day just chucked slightly at Brick, finding everything he does to be so cute that it's annoying.
"Relax, I'm not going to do anything...yet. I'm not letting you go, but I haven't figured out what punishment you deserve...Hmm, should it be death, or a coma, or paralyzing you, so many options." Day says, pretending to talk to himself.
"Hey - no!" Brick shouts, his brain shutting off at the possibilities of what his physical state could be in, in the near future.
"No, please. Look...just tell me whatever I can do to get you to forgive me. I'll do anything...as long as it is something not too extreme or life altering." Brick starts pleading again, when his brain has processed the situation a bit better.
"Like I said, I'm not going to do anything right now, so can you please just shut up. I have had a bit of a head ache because of you and your friends lately." Day says, getting slightly irritated by the commotion first thing in the morning.
"Also, you really have a talent for begging, don't you? I imagine that's because you must do it often, since you were spoiled by your parents and all your past lovers...And yes I know you are bi. I've done my research." Day says, teasing Brick to lighten his mood a little.
"Hey, what is that supposed to mean!" Brick yells, his brain immediately going to all the other things Day might do to hurt him after knowing he swings both ways, but then immediately flinches as Day suddenly gets up.
Day is only getting up to go to the balcony to smoke. He knows he has an issue, but he feels as though he needs it right now in order to clear his head.
Atleast he forces himself to smoke outside, so as to avoid other people getting second hand smoke, but he doesn't know why he bothered to do that for Brick too. He could've let Brick breathe in the smoke, damaging his lungs...but he didn't.
Shaking his head, he continues to smoke. As he reaches for another cigarette, Brick yells out for him from inside the room, so he goes back inside.
"Ai'Day! At least uncuff me! I swear I won't go anywhere!" Brick screams from inside the room to Day who was outside, because after he had woken up, he had moved his hand and found red lines on his wrist, and after the movement, every touch afterwards hurt like hell.
"What!" Day yelled back at Brick, clearly annoyed that he was stopped from smoking.
"Please, Ai'Day, take off the handcuff." Brick asks, in a softer tone because he was in genuine pain.
"P'Day." Day says quietly, but just loud enough that Brick can hear him.
"What?" Brick asks, confused.
"I'm older than you, so call me P'Day. I've been letting you get away with it before because there were important issues at hand" Day says, explaining himself.
"What? No! You're not my 'P'." Brick argues, stubbornly, as he doesn't want to show respect for someone so awful.
"If you call me 'P'Day', I'll uncuff you." Day says, finding Brick to be amusing and distracting from his constant need to smoke.
Unsure of whether it is worth it or not, Brick remains silent for a few seconds, taking in a few deep breaths, while starting intently into Day's eyes, almost in a trance from the confusion of the situation at hand. Does Day actually want to hurt me or is this his twisted way of flirting? Brick asked himself. Because if Day had really wanted to hurt him, he wouldn't talk to him like this.
Mentally deciding to give in, Brick struggles to look Day in the eye as he gulps, trying to prepare for the embarrassment.
"Umm..." Brick begins, causing Day to raise his eyes brows in question.
"P - P'Day, can you let me go?" Brick says, taking quick glances at Day to see his reaction but unable to maintain eye contact.
Day covers his mouth with his hand, pretending to think, when in fact he was hiding his smile.
"Refer to yourself as 'Brick'." Day says, trying to see how far he can push this.
"Ah! Fine!...P'Day, can you let Brick go?" Brick shouts, hoping that that will distract him from his own embarrassment, and at this point, unable to even face Day.
Unable to control himself, Day laughs softly at how cute he found Brick.
"Okay, I can free you N'Brick." Day says with a smug look on his handsome face.
Day slowly walks over to the side of the bed that Brick was laying with a small smirk on his face.
Brick couldn't help but gulp...mostly from fear but also a little from how attractive Day looked with his hair kind of messy and no shirt on, just a pair of black track pants.
When Day reaches Brick, he slowly reaches out and unlocks the hand cuff. Brick's hand falls down but he can't move for some reason.
Day knowingly smiles at Brick and leans down, bringing their faces closer together, while Brick tries to push himself as far back as he can, trying to create as much distance between them as possible. Clearly not very much, as he was still laying on the bed. When their lips are merely inches apart, Day softly whispers to Brick, "You're welcome...But don't even think about running away because I'll find you, where ever you are."
