Third party P.O.V.

Brick was speechless.

What was happening right now? He thought. Confused by the suddenly threatening - or was it flirtatious - atmosphere that was now forming in the room.

He couldn't do anything for a few moments, except stare at Day with wide eyes, as he looked back, in a relaxed, almost uncaring way.

After staring at Day for what felt like an eternity, he had forgotten what Day has asked him and his thoughts drifted.

God, he looks so good when he smiles like that.

Wait, what?

No! Not again, Brick. Get your head out of the gutter. Brick scolded himself, and forced himself to focus on the situation at hand.

No, don't look at his hands!

AHHHH!

Feeling frustrated with himself, he hadn't realised how long he had been staring at the other man, making faces that Day could not understand, yet.

Day cleared his throat, feeling uncomfortable - or was he nervous, or maybe excited - no, definitely not those two emotions.

In doing so, Day snapped Brick out of his thoughts and he moved to face the TV in front of them again, to avoid having to look at Day when he gave the answer he had decided on.

Day found this very cute and had to suppress his laugher while covering his face with his hand.

Even though I - I want to sleep with him so bad...like sooo bad. I can't. Not like this. Brick says to himself, deep in thought.

Brick wanted to maintain the smallest amount of morals he had left and he finally answered Day's question.

"Fine." He said in a quiet voice, looking straight down at the floor.

"Fine, what?" Day asked, teasing Brick, but also wanting verbal confirmation.

"Are you dumb? I'm clearly saying fine to being your personal assistant!" Brick said, trying to hide his embarrassment with anger, and failing desperately.

"Watch your tone." Day said in a calm yet demanding tone.

Despite knowing that Brick was embarrassed, he didn't like being talked down to. Not after years of being treated like dirt, when his parents had died and he had joined the gang at the bottom of the ladder.

Never again would he let anyone over power him.

"Watch your mouth or I'll extend your time." He threatened, hoping to inform Brick that despite him seeming calm and carefree, this was still going to be torturous for him.

This was a consequence of his actions, his punishment...and not the good kind.

Calm down. It's not a big deal. Day tried to tell himself, doing his best in not showing his anger again to the other guy. He didn't want to scare him, in fact, he wanted Brick to feel the complete opposite of that around him.

"Well, since you've agreed. You can start as soon as we go over some ground rules." Day began, informing Brick that this was something serious.

"You can go wherever you like, with whoever you like, whenever you like. But you will have to come to me as soon as I ask you to, whether that be by phone call, text, or through some other method. Doesn't matter what time, where you are, or what you are doing. You must come to me. Also, if you don't know how to do something, just ask. I don't want to have to clean up after you. And finally, don't make my life harder by disobeying what I say or acting stubborn, and make sure no one - that includes your friend - hurts my brother. Got it?" Day asks.

Brick is perplexed by the overload of information.

Seeing this, Day chuckles slightly and says he will right it down for Brick, and maybe even stick it on the fridge.

"Oh, and one more thing, I want you to live here for as long as you are my P.A. I'll cover the costs, but I won't be sleeping here...very often." Day says, finding Brick's again shocked expression to what he ended with, to be so amusing.

"What - what do you mean by...not very often?" Brick asks, unsure if he is feeling terrified or excited by the idea of Day sleeping with him - and no, not like that! His thoughts aren't always dirty.

"Feel free to go to your house right now, tell your parents whatever you want, grab whatever you need, and come back here. I have nothing I want you to do right now." Day says, ignoring Brick's question on purpose and getting up from the couch.

"I'm taking a shower...do whatever you want." Day finishes, before leaving Brick all alone to contemplate what to tell his family - Oh! And his friends.

They would definitely be harder to trick.

But Brick could never tell them the truth.

It would be too humiliating to admit that he, who was usually so tough and brave, was being threatened to be someone's personal assistant - although you may as well call him a slave with a bit more freedom and luxury.

"Please let the next six months go by quickly and painlessly." Brick pleads to some unknown entity, while looking straight up and closing his eyes.

But I am excited about this too. Brick admits a little reluctantly. Maybe I can even get him to like me?

Brick imagines all the things he could do to woo Day, but then he remembers, he knows nothing about the guy, let alone his type.

//Sorry this chapter was so short. I've been busy with a lot of things lately but I wanted to get at least a little something out. Hope you are enjoying it so far.//
