//This part isn't going to be a from one specific perspective.//
Gear explained to his friends what he had done and about how confused he was feeling. They told him that he needed to give Night time to calm down and that Gear too should reflect on what happened, how he felt, and then figure out why he felt that way in those moments. That advice was all they could offer him, as only he would be able to tell what he was thinking and feeling.
Leaving him alone to think, Brick and Four left the room.
"I reckon we should stay here for the night, incase that psycho decides to kill Gear." Four says.
As they leave Gear's bedroom, they spot Gus leaning against his bedroom door, swaying back and forth from sleepiness.
He eventually gives up on trying to stay awake and slowly drops to the ground, into a crouching position, falling asleep properly.
Seeing this, and knowing that Gear would be concerned about his brother if he saw him sleeping like this, Four decides to take care of Gear's brother for him.
"Ai'Gus, wake up. You can't sleep here." Four tries to wake up Gus but he is responded to with silence, and he realises that Gus must still be slightly drunk from the party earlier.
Not wanting to wake him up but also to not leave him here, Four asks Brick, "Hey, can I take the guest bedroom. I don't want to leave Gus sleeping here like this."
"Sure, I'll take the couch so that I can listen out for Gus's bedroom door opening." Brick replies, unbothered by the request.
"What?!" Fourth questions when he sees that Brick side-eyes him with a smirk.
"Nothing." He replies, while laughing to himself.
Brick has noticed how Four is always looking at or for Gus. Brick won't point it out because he doesn't want to assume or force anything and plus, it's Gear's little brother...and they don't just mess around with their friend's family.
Ignoring Brick, Four picks up Gus, wrapping Gus's thin hands around his neck, and picking him up by the legs, his arms supporting Gus's butt, pretty much holding him like a baby. The thought makes Four smile softly.
Gus, noticing that he was being picked up, hugs the unknown figure tighter, afraid of falling. Four's heart beat speeds up, due to the sudden embrace, but he tries to ignore it as he carries Gus to the guest bedroom and then locks the door.
After gently laying down Gus on the bed and then tucking him in, Four stops and takes a second to stare at the small, slim figure laying on the bed. He is standing beside the bed, and leans down to brush some hair away from Gus's face and tucks it behind his ear.
"He's so beautiful." Four whispers to himself with a sigh, catching himself off-guard.
The realisation of what he has just said hits, and he quickly stands up and goes into the bathroom to wash his face.
After a couple deep breaths and some cold water on his face, Four calms down and then lays down next to Gus, but he makes sure there is plenty of space between them.
Gus suddenly shifts, turning to face Four subconsciously. Four's eyes widen and he then admits to himself that he will probably be too nervous to fall asleep now.
Surprisingly, though, he does fall asleep, thanks to the alcohol in his system.
The next morning at around 5 am:
"Wham!"
Brick wakes up after hearing a door slam open. With wide eyes, he runs to the source of the sound, immediately remembering the events of last night.
He gets there just as Day is about to start walking towards the other bedrooms.
"Stop! I said stop!" Brick yells, honestly a little scared to confront Day alone.
"Are you going to try to make me?" Day asks, a smirk on his face as he looks down at the slim figure.
"P'Brick, I think it's best if - if you don't do anything. I'll make sure P'Gear isn't hurt too badly." Night cuts in, wanting to avoid as much conflict as possible.
"Night, I'll stay out of this as long as Gear isn't hurt...and if you hear him out." Brick tries to reason.
Brick's audacity angers Day, resulting in him shoving Brick backwards, causing him to hit the wall of the hallway.
"You dare ask my brother to hear his side of the story. What about when Gear wouldn't listen to him? Why should my brother have to listen to that piece of shit." Day says through clenched teeth.
After saying this, Day turns around and Night takes him to Gear's room which is further down the hallway.
In shock and fear from what Day has just said and done, Brick backs off but follows them to Gear's room, after knocking loudly on the guest bedroom's door to signal to his friend that something was happening.
Inside the guest bedroom:
Gus slowly opens his eyes, his sleep disturbed by the sound of aggressive knocking on the door.
As his eyes flutter open and his muscles regain consciousness, he sees and feels a figure in front of him.
It's someone handsome, with big muscles, Gus notes mentally, as he realises he is hugging the figure and the figure is hugging him back. He tilts his face up to look at the face of the person properly, as his eyes are still blurry from lack of sleep and the hangover, and he uses his hands, which are on a large and muscly yet lean chest, to lift his body up a little.
His movement causes the other person to wake up.
Four gains consciousness quicker than Gus and he stares into his face, realising they must have ended up hugging each other in their sleep. Honestly, he doesn't mind...and also doesn't want to let go. He just stares into Gus's face with a soft smile when he realises that Gus still hasn't realised who he is sleeping with.
As Gus's vision clears, his eyes widen and he jumps back, except a large arm wraps around his slim waist and pulls him back.
Their chests collide, their lips only inches apart now. Gus, still stuck in shock, freezes and just stares into Four's smug eyes. Four leans in closer, and whispers gently, "Good morning. Did you sleep well?"
Four is too entranced by the person in front of him and his cuteness, that he forgets completely about the situation outside.
Until he hears a loud crash followed by screaming.
