Sarah and I chatted all night, talking about life, school, hobbies. "So what exactly happened between you and Adam?" Mark walks into the room, his hands in the pockets of his grey hoodie. "I snapped at him, I'm sure he hates me now. I'm leaving so I will never hurt him again. Please. Don't tell Adam I'm here. I don't want him to come find me."

Mark gave me a kind smile. A warm, kind, sweet little smile. "Kids these days. Fighting over petty things," he sarcastically says. "Oh shush old man!" Sarah stuck her tongue out at him, giving him a sharp punch on the shoulder. Mark just laughed even harder. "Is she always like this..?" I softly mumble, only just loud enough for them to hear. "Oh boy, every day! I have to deal with her, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 24/7, 365! Everyday her bullshi-" "MARK. LANGUAGE. WE'RE JUST 12." they were such nice siblings. If only I didn't snap at Adam. Mark's phone buzzed slightly, he read the message out loud. "Mark, I'm going to have to cancel the appointment we made. I'm a little busy with something." "Oh my god Cesar. Don't tell me you got a cat." He muttered, texting him the person on the other end back. "Well don't worry about that. Now go to bed you two, it's pretty late."

"It's just 8pm!" Sarah protested.

"Still pretty late," Mark shrugged, leaving the room.
