Cesar's pov:
"Sorry you had to see me cry like that, huh?" I rubbed the back of my head, laughing awkwardly as Adam was still hugging me. "Mr Cesar, the note on the floor spells out Evelin. I think.. Evelin's next." I picked up the note that had a bit of blood on it, reading it. I let out a sharp exhale. "I'll call Mark. Aka my friend." I rang him up again, telling him about the note, how Evelin was next. 5 minutes later he came speeding back to my house, breaking every driving rule of the Mandela County. "CESAR- oh you have a kid?"
"Long story. Anyways, look at the note." Adam hugged my waist from behind me, not wanting to talk to Mark, assuming he's shy.
He looked through the note, looking more shocked with the second. "We need to leave. Now."
"Adam, be a dear and stay here while me and Mr Mark go see something, alright?" I spoke in a calming gentle voice to not scare him. He nods, kneeling down next to the corpse.
(Evelin's house)
We took too long. She was long gone. I'll spare you the details, but she got hung with a skipping rope in the backyard. "Oh dulce buen dios.." I mutter, having a moment of silence for a minute. "If you guesseD the riddle, you'll know who's next. The one with sunglAsses, Very annoying hE is, an adult. For being nosy and teLling on mE, he must pErish, I won't be sorry."
"Cesar we need to leave!"
