Jake walked in with Scully followed by Sam and Nick who were holding out their coffee travel cups and yawned, clearly due to lack of sleep. "Morning, Scully. How was your weekend?" Peralta asked him.

"Oh, fun. Kelly and I hit the park, went for a long walk. Fell asleep watching TV." the old detective said with a smile and left to hang his coat in the break room. "Oh. Sounds like a fun weekend with Kelly." Jake remarked and then turned around looking confused at the detectives once Scully was out of ear-shot.

"So, Kelly. Is that Scully's wife or his dog?" he asked them. Everyone looked equally confused as they thought of an answer. Nobody knew. "Uh... Wait. No one knows Scully's wife's name?" "I think Kelly is his dog." Sam opinioned and Amy quickly agreed with her. "Went for a long walk. That's what you do with a dog."

"You can go on a long walk with a person. At sunset. Talking about nothing. And everything." Charles said clearly hinting the words for Rosa making Nick and Gina roll their eyes. "Sounds awful. Hit the park. That's a dog." Rosa stated with a grudge. "My wife takes the babies to the park all the time." Terry reasoned.

"All right, we're doing this. Let's play "wife or dog."" Jake announced to the group just as Scully returned from the break room. "Hey, so Scully, what do you do at the park with Kelly?" Sam asked him. "Oh, we just walk around. She gets antsy if she doesn't get outside enough. And then it's just yap, yap, yap, all day long." he answered.

"Hey, what's Kelly's favorite food?" Charles asked this time. "Peanut butter. She'll eat it right out of the jar." "How old is Kelly again?" Nick asked as he set his mug on the table. "Well, she's getting up there, but she's pretty spry for her age. Especially considering she got hit by that car a year ago." he answered.

"Oh, that's so awful. Was she chasing something into the street, or..." Jake asked with uncertainty. "No. Just getting me the newspaper." Scully answered. "All right, this is useless. Scully, is Kelly your wife or your dog?" Jake asked frustrated. "How can you ask me that?" the detective asked hurt and walked away.

"I still don't know which it is." Nick said. "Could be either." Sam interjected. "I could not tell you." Jake concluded to the others who still discussed between themselves.

Sam waited outside Captain's office as she saw Nick, Jake and Charles talk with Holt about the steroids case that Nick had told her about last night when they stuffed on ice cream together. She knew they were gonna have Terry on the field for the case to progress. Once they were all out of the office, Nick noticed the brunette waiting outside and creased his eyebrows and nodded up to ask if everything was fine. She just shook her head and gave a soft smile in response. He was always concerned for her.

The brunette then knocked on the door and poked her head inside. "May I come in, Captain?" she asked. "Come in." he said as he read through some files. "Is there anything I can help you with?" he added once the file was placed aside. "So, uh, I'm kinda inexperienced with this but, I need your assistance." Sam said.

"How can I assist you, detective?" he asked. "Sir you're married to you husband and I'm sure you a had good old grand wedding-" she started. "We didn't actually." he interrupted. "-Oh, um, well you're the only one I can approach for this.. My brother, Daniel, he's getting married in a month and he chose me as the Best Woman." she said.

"That's exciting, detective. You must be on loads of duties then." "I am but I have never been in that position and I'm doing it the first time that too for my own brother's wedding so I want your help?" she said uncertainly. "Only, if you want to help me with it." she started excusing.

"Samantha, it'd be my pleasure to help you out and I understand that it can be a little nerve crackling to manage especially a gay wedding." Holt spoke in a soft tone. "Wait, really?" she baffled. "Of course, my husband and I had to skip the big traditional wedding because we got married as soon gay marriages were allowed and we didn't want to waste much time on it. We would've loved a lovely wedding by tradition."
