Sam was keeping Marilyn's leash in her desk drawer when Charles walked into the bullpen holding out everybody some cards. "For you. And you. And you." he handed her one.
Sam looked at the card header which was written as 'STD'. "What are these?" she asked him first. "These, madam, are STDs." he said without missing a beat.
"What are you talking about, buddy?" Jake asked confused. "STDs. Save the dates. For Vivian and my wedding." Charles replied smiling.
"Ah yes." they all nodded, trying their best at stifling their laughs. "Hey, just out of curiosity, how many people have you given STDs to?" Nick asked showing him the card. "Lots. Like 100."
All of the group laughed at this, leaving Boyle confused. "What's going on?" he asked but later focused onto the words written on Nick's card.
"Uh... oh, okay. I get it. "STD" has another meaning. You're gross. No one else is gonna think that." Charles defended. "Everyone is going to think that. But it's sweet that your mind didn't go there." Amy said.
"Thank you. It is kinda sweet." he smiled thinking about his future with Vivian. "Will your first dance be to you give me fever?" Amy teased.
"Will you be serving crabs at the reception?" Terry added. "Do you have herpes?" Gina commented from her desk.
"Make sure you don't hit bumps on the way home, can make you sore." Sam teased. "Yeah and that your suit isn't itchy." Nick added to her joke and shared a high five with her.
"Guys, this is my wedding. This is important to me. No more jokes." Charles complained making them all stop laughing.
"You're right, and we're sorry." Jake said in a serious tone but soon broke a smile. "We love you, buddy. Warts and all." he paused, holding onto Terry as he laughed.
"Sorry, I made a rash decision. I was itching to say it." he continued laughing. "Okay, I'm done." he said. Just then Hitchcock showed up from behind him and Terry only to say, "I have an STD" proudly.
Everybody paused awkwardly. "So just RSVP, or..." Jake said to break the conversation. "Yeah, the number's right on there..." Charles said awkwardly. "Great. Thank you." Sam said and walked to her desk to work.

The squad was sitting in the briefing room when Jake and Sam came in happily running to their seat.
"Whoo! Happy Tactical Village Day. Happy Tactical Village Day. Happy Tactical Village Day." they announced together as they shared high fives with almost everybody and sat in their seats next to Charles and Nick respectively.
"Peralta, I'm surprised to see you so excited about departmentally mandated training exercises." Holt said.
"It's the most fun day of the year. Something you wouldn't understand, because you're not programmed to feel joy." Jake joked.
"Yes, but my software is due for an exuberance upgrade." Holt played along on the joke. "You know, when you play along with the robot jokes it kind of ruins my enjoyment of them." Jake replied. "Yes, I know."
"Anyways, Tactical Village Day is awesome." Jake said excitedly. "We get to field test a bunch of cool, new weapons, and there's always a new training situation. Last year's was prison break." Sam explained with enthusiasm.
"It got super violent. It's like being in an action movie." she added excitedly.
"It's also a good opportunity for us to let off steam and bond as a unit. Everybody gets into it." Terry said.
"Needless to say, the nine-nine has never had a perfect run." Amy added, like the killjoy she is.
